ME Salon is the best! After so many disappointing experiences in SA, it was refreshing to find a salon for ME! It was such a relaxing experience to recieve my first hand massage duing my consultation. The young man was so informative in telling me about my hair needs. My color and cut was beyond my expectations! Abel was an amazing hairdresser who promoted an exciting, youthful, new look, for ME!

Great Salon with Wonderful Staff – My husband received the best haircut from Luly! Thank you Luly!! I have been going to ME salon since it opened and enjoy each experience. The staff is fun, friendly, and always so sweet and obviously there to please their customers. Kim has taken care of me for 26 years!! She is the best!

Great service, Great conversation and Great Styling – Hey there,

I have been coming to Kim's place since I was in 2nd grade. The quality of her work and her knowledgeable eye for talent have made Me Salon one of the best salons in Central Texas, if not the state as a whole. I have always felt a welcome and friendly "vibe" when I am there. I always have a great time chatting and I feel that everyone there is a good soul. The below reviews in my opinion are mere attempts to sabotage Kim and her great staff because of vindictive and base people. One only has to look at the polarity of bad reviews to excellent reviews to see such a thing. In fact any of the mentioned people who are advertising outside of Kim's place, I would not visit because these are likely the same people who were fired for poor attitudes, which are reflected in the negative comments below(these are the same people). What goes around eventually comes back around, so those people who are lying and are attempting to slam Me salon and the great people there ought to cut it out. Stop being sore losers and stop logging on and creating accounts to bash Me Salon. God bless.

Horrible Customer Service – The first time I went there, I was insulted by this brunette hair stylist. It was closing time and she talked crap about me to the cashier and they both laughed at me as I left. I hated the girl, but I loved the products and the way my hair felt. Stupid me, I should've stopped there but I decided to give Me Salon another shot.

I came back and saw Jamie a few times. At first, she was nice.. but I slowly caught on to her fakeness. The more I saw her, the less professional she became. The last time I went there, she TOTALLY dismissed me and was rude. She even cut my hair UNEVENLY! I think she did it on purpose, too!

I truly think these women are stuck up and think if you don't dress like them, you're unworthy of their time. I wanted to check out their clothes and they looked at me up and down and said "oh... those are too expensive. I don't think you can afford it." HA! I actually was in the mood to spend a lot of my money. I could've bought a t-shirt but oh well, their loss. I have luxury brand bags and clothes, but I wasn't in the mood to wear them. I guess because I dressed ordinarily, that means they should treat me like crap.

Needless to say, I never went back. I should've never came back after the first visit. They ARE HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE, CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Love Me Salon-absolutely wowed! – Going to Me Salon, is something I have come to look forward to-and indulge in, about every 4 to 5 weeks. My treat. You arrive, with 1,or 2 really sweet and attentive girls at the front desk, who already call you by your name, and wisk you away to drinks and pamper time. Luly, my stylist, usually is waiting for me at the door as well. She never has kept me waiting. She then discusses what's going on with my hair and what I want, never assuming, so that we are on the same page. I have such confidence in her color and style ability. All the girls there are so upbeat, in style and warm and friendly. When Luly is finished, I not only love what she has done, but have been taught exactly how she styled my hair, so I really can go home and repeat what she has done. I leave feeling fabulous. Like I said, this is truly one of my days I look forward to every month-and all the compliments I get on my hair, are an added plus. I highly recommend all the girls there. Enjoy.

Oh my goodness... – I went for the first appointment and saw someone the receptionist said was one of their best and very expierenced. It was great but very expensive. She did such a great job, so I decided to save and splurge. So, i streched out my appointments and just returned to find shes gone. They sent to someone else they said was great also. I have to disagree. The service was average and the expierence was poor. Not to mention it cost just as much that I paid to see one of their best and the girl who did it hadn't even been doing hair as long. Very disappointed and will be not returning.

Very Expensive – I have been going to ME for a few months; the first hairdresser I had, Taylor, I thought she was great. I got in one more appointment with her, then showed up for my 3rd hair apt and she was gone; no one bothered to call her clients, acted as if I had no apt set up from 6 weeks earlier. I was very disattisfied because I asked for an eyebrow wax; no one available that day for an eyebrow wax; very dissatisfactory service. The latest apt I had with another hair stylest, the hair cut and color that typically cost $70 increased to $170 (wow, what a price hike this was); I was, needless to say, shocked at the sticker price; no one bothered to inform me that the stylest set their own prices. I will never return to ME, they are overpriced and have disappointed me for good.

Great Experience! – After living in SA for 14yrs I've finally found the right hair salon! I went to Me Salon depressed with a tri-coloured head (predominately ash) in hopes that my research would pay off. It did! Mary Ann is stellar!! She not only fixed my hair, she understood it all and assisted me with new styling technique etc. Not since Italy has my hair been right (I look forward to my future appts. w/ her) and I highly recommend her.

Stop the Madness – I was a very loyal client of the Me Salon, I was so excited for the new location to finally get open. I went to the Me Salon for 4 years about every 6-8 weeks. My stylest was Lisa and I followed her from Bangz all the way to Me. She is very well educated and does a great job each and every time. I had to quit going to Lisa do to the fact that she wasn't ever available for my needed time, I was always asked to see a new stylest one that trained under Lisa. Or was told I would see Lisa and when i arrived it was changed to another stylest. Well this is one of the many reasons that I no longer go to Me.

I also never knew what the final price would be, it seemed no matter what I had done each and every time it seemed to be more and more expensive. I feel that the salon never had posted prices for me to compare my services to the final tab. Or if I asked what the cost of a service was at the time of payment I was told that it was a combination price and they didn't know the break down of each service. That was not the stylest fault it is the Management and Kim your the management.

So Kim if you are wondering why your profits are dropping well it is because you can't continue to charge a client for all of your expenses in a 2.5 hours service. Your prices are way out of wack. So if you want to be an exculsive salon keep raising the prices and do not let your clients know and you will get your wish. Even the wealthy have to watch their bank accounts, believe it or not. I hope that your wealthy clients look at your reviews so they can see that they are being taken for a big ride every 6 - 8 weeks. I know that my wealthy bank account has thanked Me for not going to back.

Now that I have been reconnected with Lisa at Be Free Salon it has been a God send. I am thankful that I have made the choice to go to a great stylest and save money too.

tacky – I'm not a client at ME but I have a friend who is and will be leaving due to thier unprofessional attitude. She heard them bad mouthing more than one ex-employee and they were behaving in a very caddy manor. Not appropriate for the price she told me she pays to get her hair done. she is making the switch to my girl. Good luck if you choose to go there...
