Outstanding customer service! Was able to walk in and get my sons hair cut in a timely manner.
Not no mention i have a busy life and have to schudle things months in advanced. I was able to scehdule my hair apt 1 month prior on a specific date. The week of my hair apt i needed to switch days. I called and my stylist was not in; yet the person who answered the phone assured me that my stylist would call me asap. To my surprise she called, she also easily booked me on the day i needed. to top it off she went in on her only day off just to do my hair. Not many people would do that, let alone a pregnant woman. She spend 4 long hours fixing my hair from fantastic sams mistake. The end result is beautiful. I am extremely picky with my hair and she has made it look fantastic. Another huge plus is the private processing room. Simply help yourself to cold beverages, cappuccino, etc.. updated magazines too...
thank you Sandra for setting a great example for hair stylists, u have my business from here on out...
oh .. did i mention best price around... trust me i priced around,,,, great quality hair results for ur dollar....
Never go there!!!!!!!! Stay away from a Caucasian stylist from 40 to 50 yr old with short hair and glasses....she does not know how to cut hair!!!!!
New Stylists, New Beginning – I am proud to say I have been a long time customer of Guys & Dolls and I am happy to announce that the old stylists that all of the negative comments are about no longer work there. Mitzi and Abby the new managers have brought new life to the salon. The salon is cleaner, friendlier and the whole atmosphere has changed. The prices are still reasonable and the cuts are great. Give the new staff a chance and I am sure you will be pleased.
Would Not Go Back!! – Me and my sister went here to get a trim. We signed in and wrote that we wanted a cut and wash. They washed my sisters have and cute it in like ten minutes. Then her other customer came in so she said my sister was done and dint even blow dry her hair! I sat down and the lady told me she was going to DRY CUT my hair and I did not need a wash! I also got layers which these people do not know how to do. When I got home I actually had to fix it MYSELF! Plus they do not clean any of their tools. Would not go back!!!!!!!
very unhapppy – when i walked in, the place seemed unclean. i had previously called in and was quoted $31 for a wash, cut and style. it is a few dollars more than what i pay at invisible changes at north star and la cantera, so i figured the quality of service would be the same. wrong. i told the woman how i wanted my hair cut, then had to listen to how she wanted to cut it. i didn't budge, so she stopped trying to change my mind. she still cut more off than i wanted, which wasn't that big of a deal b/c i have long hair and it will grow back. however, she decided she didn't want to blow dry my hair by hand, but rather put me under a blow dryer so she could cut another guys hair in the mean time while she waited for mine to dry. not only did she make me wait under this blow dryer while she cut her new clients hair, but as he sat down she wiped my hair off my cut hair from the scissors on her pants and grabbed the comb she just used on my head and began his cut. aren't there laws about sanitization of combs and scissors for hair salons? i've never seen anything like it. my first impression that the place was unprofessional and unclean seemed to be accurate afterall. once she was done with the guy and cashed him out, she came back to finish her work on me. which, by the way, was just a quick blow dry and a straight iron to finish. no products used at all in this style that was included inthe price. i wouldn't have gone anywhere special with what i left with. not to mention, she then wanted to charge me $34 b/c my hair was long. unprofessional again. i went here b/c it was close to my house and thought if i liked it that would be very convenient for me to get cuts in the future. i'll never go back. it gorssed me out to be honest.
Sad work – I am new in town and needed a salon. After visiting the salon, I've decided to drive back home for my hair cuts and color. Regardless of the low cost and walking availability, its not worth the disaster I resulted with.
Never again – I walked in with a picture and requested a hair cut and color to match that. I walked out very upset and disappointed at both the color and cut. Yvette bragged about how they fixed the problems from the Culebra location all the time but I don?t see how she could have even felt comfortable enough to make that comment. If I were her, I?d be ashamed to call my self a hairstylist. I will never return to Guys and Dolls and wouldn?t recommend it to my worst enemy.
Great Staff, very friendly, – This is a salon for the entire family. The people are great and the price is right. They do it all and walk ins are welcomed unlike some other salons I have been to.
