Linda has been taking pictures of my children (now 5 and 8) for years and has always had a lot of patience and ideas to keep them interested, even when I would have just given up. Her pictures of my daughter (now 8) are true portraits. My only trouble is choosing which pictures since they are all so nice and I know I only have so many spaces for frames in the house. It's a bit of a drive for me from Westlake to Cedar Park to get to her studio, but that has nothing to do with her quality as a photographer. It is worth the time.
Great Photographer. My children?s pictures taken at Photo Sensation are the best that I have seen. The photographer was very patient with my children and took twice as many pictures as most photographers. They responded well to her and she got some really good expressions. She used props and backgrounds to get a really artistic look. I would definitely use her again. She gave us plenty of time to review the pictures and was very helpful in answering our questions about sizes and pricing.
Great photographer and artist. This photographer/artist is excellent in many ways. Not only are the finished portraits stunningly beautiful, but Linda works hard to make the session exceed your expectations. She selects more than one background, listens to your desires, and also uses her creativity to take flattering photographs you may not have thought of. She was respectful of my time. The selection session was at a convenient time for me. I received excellent value for the price.
Would not use again .... Although I did eventually get what I paid for and wanted for the most part, it was an ordeal to get it. I asked Linda upfront if she could do a session with me wherein I only purchased 1 photo - I told her what type of look, feel and scenery (I suggested the lake as I wanted water) I was going for. She was prompt in her reply and eager to please - she stated she would need to charge a minimal extra fee for travel to the lake - understandable of course. She requested I send her an Email with possible pose preferences. She stated she would take a multitude of pictures and make sure all of my pose preferences were part of the session. I was impressed up to this point - but this is where being impressed ended. After I paid the sitting fee, she suggested we use a man-made water area within 1/2 mile of her house - I agreed, but for some reason she still felt the need to charge that extra trip fee. She was unorganized and easily frustrated - I helped her on several occasions with her set-up as she moved around to take A COUPLE of the preferred pictures I requested - then she stopped stating "I'm out of film - we're done." When I came to view the photos she had taken, I actually found 3 that I loved - instead of the original 1 photo I only needed. Once I told Linda I would be purchasing 3 photos, she began to rush me stating she did not have time to work with me any longer and began making statements like "do you have any idea how long it took me to put together that book of photos for you?" I explained to her that I told her from the beginning I only wanted 1 photo and that she managed to do such a stunning job on more than 1 that I wanted 3. Needless to say, when I picked up my "package" of pictures, some changes had not been made that I requested and she was less than friendly.
