If you have the time, choose McAlisters over Subway and order a Sweet Tea..
I like this place because the food is fresh and tastes very homemade and the atmosphere is nice. If you just get a Sandwich, Large Sweet tea, and chips, it comes to about the same price as Subway. Under $8.
The only complaint I have is that everytime I've been there during lunch rush hour, there is a long line and only one person at the register when there are three registers available. And sometimes it takes20 minutes or so to get the food. I don't know why it takes so long to make a chicken salad sandwich?
If you are in a hurry, go to Subway or Which Wich. If you have some time to dispose and don't mind waiting for food, I'd choose Mc Alister's Deli and order a Sweet Tea.
