San Isidro Mission Cafe – There has been lots of talk about this restaurant ,that I had to take a look for my self. Ok here it is … I loved it. The food was great and I don’t believe no other mexican restaurant can even be close to this mexican food. Not to mention that the people there are great.. they make you feel like you are part of their family. Here I thought that Leos and other mexican restaurants were good ( they are but in a different way) boy was I wrong…. I highly recommend this place and great food ( try the beef green echiladas).
small town cafe with a big taste! – A tiny hole in the wall amongst vast cotton fields. A little out of the way but worth it. It seems to be a well kept secret amongst locals since it was full during lunch hours. The menu is varied from mexican seafood (mariscos) to your more traditional mexican plates. Never tried the mariscos but did have the tacos and they were as close to my grandmas' than anywhere else Ive tasted. worth the drive be wary of lunch hours.
