It took three appointments and three trips to the store only to have some RUDE girl accept 3 pieces of clothing out of 25. I called REGULARLY to see if anything sold. The answer was always the same. Nothing in your account yet. I stopped in 12/26/13 to pick my 3 pieces up and they were gone and they had no money in my . I wonder how many folks like me they've screwed in the passed. Next time I'll just donate my things to a charity. Terri's screwed me the same way. Don't trust these consignment stores.

Service with a snarl – I was extremely excited to see Turn Style open and happily browsed around and even purchased items. Unfortunately one of the items I purchased for my home was unusable:( Needless to say I got busy going to work etc.. and decided to return it with the receipt the next week. This is when things got weird. As I walked in the door I was immediately looked at with disgust and immediately told that buying took place on X date. Did I mention I had barely entered to door with this bulky item? Meaning this girl (I can't in all good conscience call her a lady), had to yell across the store. I was appalled and embarrassed as if I had done something wrong. I explained to the girl that I was returning the item and she literally grabbed the receipt where she promptly looked at the back of and very abruptly stated (not explained) that I had purchased the item more than 6 days ago and it was "policy" as per the back of the receipt. I did attempt to ask about other options and was again abruptly cut off. If I would have been able to speak I may have suggested that they more clearly express their 6 day return policy such as have it on the FRONT of the receipt, notify each customer at the time of sale, have clear notices around the store, list it on the sales tag etc......crazy ideas like that might make it less likely for consumers to think you are concealing your return policy practices. Although I'm still bothered by not being able to return this item (I ended up giving it to Goodwill), it was the conduct of the employee that truly blew my mind. I work hard for my bank account and expect that my business is valued. They may have some nice things but business is business and this place did not want mine. There are several other consignment shops that I'm sure will be happy have my business.
