I was meeting a friend at the dealership who was buying a new car. By the this happened today 3.28.2014
A salesperson approached me and offered to sell me a car too while I was waiting for my friend.
To cut the chase they took over 45 minutes to figure the' trade in value' of my car. That too I had to ask what they were willing to offer for my car.
I have to tell you what I was going to trade so you can determine if you ever want to go to this dealership to purchase car if you had a trade in.
They offered me five hundred dollars for my 1995 Lincoln town car signature series black on black with 48000 actual miles from new.( yes 48k actual miles) Very clean car inside out with a clean title.
We had the most pleasant car buying experience of our lives! Of course we had looked online and knew what vehicles we were interested in and what features we had to have and which were negotiable. After contacting the internet department and being put in touch with a helpful salesperson (John Sims) we scheduled a visit. He had the car we were interested in ready to go for a test drive, even coached us in what to do in order to test certain options. Once we were ready to purchase the finance manager, sales staff and everyone we spoke with was very pleasant to deal with. No pressure, no pushing options we weren't interested in, just smooth sailing until we drove off the lot. Cannot say enough about the whole experience! The Honda name speaks for itself but this dealership goes above and beyond to make the entire car buying experience enjoyable
My review has to do with the service department. My 2009 Ridgeline has been serviced by this dealer from the beginning. The service writers are friendly for the most part. However if you have an issue the attitude changes and they go on the defense and act as if your problem is not really a problem. While I've had few issues over the last 2+ years when I did they are less then friendly and made me feel like they were doing me a favor my taking care their service failure. My last issue was on 11/16/2012 when they changed my oil and didn't tighten the oil drain plug. Oil was leaking and I had to tighten the plug my self. When I went back to the dealer and asked to speak to the manager I was told he was busy and I can either wait or they'll have him call me. As of this e-mail her hasn't made that call to me. Neither has the general manage that I left a message to call me. I guess business is so good they just haven't had the time. I had the time to buy the car from them, I've made time to get it serviced with them. Hummmmm.
This review details my experience with purchasing a 2012 Honda Pilot Ex-L from Honda of Superstition Springs.
I found the vehicle I was interested in via their web site. I had done some research and knew what I wanted to pay for the vehicle. I inquired about the Pilot through their web site and received a prompt reply. The price quoted in the return email met my expectations, so I sent another email asking them to provide me with an out-the-door price detailing the purchase price, fees, taxes, etc. They did and so I told them I would be in that evening to purchase the vehicle.
When I arrived, my wife and I were greeted warmly, shown the vehicle we intended to purchase and then walked through the process of buying the SUV.
Everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous, helpful, and most importantly, honest. There were no surprises. All of the figures we had agreed upon earlier in the day via email were the same when we arrived to make the purchase -- no bait and switch games. My sales reps (Mike and Paul) were spectacular (Mike for his work in making sure all of the details of our email conversation were met and Paul for his helpful, laid-back manner and excellent knowledge of the vehicle and its features/options). Paul gave us a great orientation to our new Pilot. Our finance rep was also very professional and made the tedious work of signing all of the documents actually enjoyable. He didn't push unwanted warranties or dealer-offered programs. He simply asked if we were interested and when we declined, he moved on.
Thank you to everyone at Honda of Superstition Springs who made our experience purchasing our first Pilot one of the best car buying experiences of our lives. I will be sure to recommend Honda of Superstition Springs to anyone I know who's interested in purchasing a new vehicle -- and I'll be sure to see you next time my wife and I are in need of a new Honda.
Great car buying experience! – Recently purchased a new 2012 Civic from Honda of Superstition Springs in Mesa, Arizona. This was by far my best experience ever purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. I worked with the General Sales Manager, Rob Beard and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I met a few other members of his sales staff during the process and everyone was extremely nice! I was treated with respect and courtesy throughout the entire process. From the sales department to the finance department to final delivery of my new car. I can not recommend this Honda store enough!!
CROOKS!! – Had an issue with a vehicle we bought from Honda of Superstition springs, contacted Kenny Gess several times, he failed to follow up on the issue and failed to try and resolve the issue. I called Kenny Gess and asked if his manager was able to resolve the issue and Kenny responded rudely and hung up on me before I could say another word. Total lack of customer service and just down right disrespectful. Called GM of dealership and left several messages, he also failed to return my calls or try to resolve the issue, once these people get your money you turn into a nobody. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
wouldn't let us leave – We went to this dealership to look at some cars. When we were approached we informed the salesman that we're not ready to buy a car this day, that we were just looking at options, see prices, etc.
They insisted on us buying a car. They asked for our keys to look at our car to asses the trade in value of it. We gave them our keys, this was a big mistake. They were very pushy in trying to convince us to buy a car they had 3 people trying to talk us into buying. When we asked for our keys so that we could leave, they said the sales manager in the tinted glassroom had the keys and that they were trying to get them back and continued to try to sell us a car. We could not leave. it took 20 minutes to get our keys back. We will never buy a car at this dealership.
