At our first visit to sands chevrolet we meet with salesman, his name was waseem. he was very professional. gave us all the information we want and also gave us prices with or with out trade with welcome and big smile. i recommend him for every one to go and shop at sands chevrolet. i will com again to buy my next car and will tell my family about it. thank u sands chevrolet. and thank you waseem

thank you sands – I would like to thank Sands for saving my day and getting me the car i have always wanted. To start off with i am in the service and have been saving for awhile on this car I drove all the way here from texas to look at a car at larry miller and was lied to about the car i came to see. but thats anothert review for them. After much dissapointment i looked through internet to find nother camaro and called Sands internet department . They had the car i have been looking for and gave me a great military discount and was done in just over a hour driving my New camaro. I cannot say ebough about my salesman Jim Sommer and the entire department. I will be back again on my next vehicle. Thanks

The absolute worst service we've ever gotten!!!! Be warned! – My husband and I also had a horrible experience with this people. We were looking for a specific truck, but just looking. The sales man wanted some personal info from us and my husband said "no". After that, our sales guy left and another man (a man who was supposed to be intimidating looking) stepped in his place and demanded why my husband would'nt give his personal info. He was a complete jerk. Anyway, after the guy gave up on that, he showed us vehicles that we told him we weren't interested in, basically trying to bully us into buying anything. After my husband gets into a few unpleasant discussions with him, we decided to leave. We go out to our car and apparently some guy who works for this dealership backs up right behind us, so we can't leave. The manager comes out and tries to sell us a truck that is on display inside. He wouldn't let us leave. We threatened to hit the truck behind us if he didn't let us go, he finally did. My husband called later that day to complain about our terrible experience, ( I don't know who he talked to), but they promised us if we came back, we would receive better service and they found a truck fitting his description. We decided to go back, BIG mistake. When we arrived, the man from the day before who tried to bully us into buying something else was outside the entrance door with a few other sales men, mocking my husband, trying to start a fight. We left right after that. I couldn't believe the kind of service we received and I cannot believe they are still around.

Don't go anywhere else! – I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from the Sands Internet depatment and I would not ever consider going anywhere else. Bill McDowell listens to what you need and doesn't try to sell you something higher priced like the other dealers do. Mr. McDowell had everything ready for me before I arrived and made the transactions as simple as possible for me. He was also willing a to make any changes that I asked for and always had a great attitude and made me feel like he sincerley appreciated my continued business. He was always more than willing to answer any questions I had, even after the sale. I have sent others to purchase cars from Bill and they were also very impressed and satisfied. I have compared prices and have never found a lower price anywhere else. You won't regret working with Bill McDowell at Sands Chevrolet.

Shady at best – So I made a visit to Sands Chevrolet in Glendale in early October. To get right to the point negoteations were hostile. Granted my credit is no peach the treatment received made me feel like I was incarserated or some type criminal just because of the way I was talked down to. Making matters worse after I had decided that the situation was pointless and wanted to leave the finance manager wouldnt give me the keys to my vehicle back (they took them to inspect the trade) until he had his chance to try and knock me down a few notches into settling for the deal they put together.

Now about the deal. First of all I had stopped at another dealership previously to do my due diligence in shopping around and pricing things out. I was offered $4200 for my trade however they didn't have the vehicle I was interested in buying which then brought me to Sands. Sands Chevrolet only offered $1000 which was completely ridiculous. Secondly the down payment they wanted was more than the first dealer had offered on trade. The monthly payment they figured was right at $500 when I kept telling them I wasn't going to spend more then $375 a month. At this point I had been at the dealership for two hours and things were going downhill fast. I told the manager that I just wanted my keys back and I was not going to buy.

Early January rolls around and I get a call from the dealer by a man named Tom Scott. Tom proceeds to tell me that the management of the dealership has changed and he has looked over my paperwork and says he can make the numbers work and he would like me to come back in. I told him that my previous experience was very unpleasant and I was reluctant to come back. He said "if we cant make the numbers work in your favor I will get your car washed and throw in an oil change". I agreed to come back and try again.

Round two begins. When I arrive the sharks were curious and the faces were new. My first thoughts were that maybe things will be different. Tom is not there but they quickly find another sales person to work with me and the sales manager sits in on the deal as well. No later then 20 minutes into negotiations the same numbers I saw in October appear. I tell them the same thing, "No". This time though the sales manager, Ernest Hickman, takes things even further. He was absolutely persistent in pushing the down payment which was a months wages. I told him that I can not only give you $X dollars in 21 days. I would have nothing to pay my bills with. He said "that is not my problem and there is no other way te deal can work". I followed this with "Well I am in no hurry to buy anyways and now must not be a good time just as the first time I was here". He followed with "Why cant you give me $X down" I then reiterated that I would have nothing left to pay my bills with and you even asking is completly unethical. I am going to end this with Ernest Hickman was very rude and declined to NOT give me the car wash and oil change I was promised for coming back.

Stay away from these people. They are the typical poorly educated weasels that sell used cars.They will try to stick it to you and are rude about it. I will be publishing my own review site on this dealership shortly with the full story in detail.
