I had a fantastic dining experience here last night in Little Italy! Every bite I had was delicious, from the lobster ravioli to the tiramisu, which tasted like a cloud of heaven in my mouth. In fact, the tiramisu was the best I have ever had. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza which was cooked to perfection. We sat on the patio and had a view of the art walk too! Overall all my favorite part of my experience was the staff - I felt a genuine positive vibe from everyone that passed by our table. Service was prompt, courteous and inviting. I hear they have live music on Sundays (and I think Thursdays?)... I will definitely be going back!
We love this restaurant! It's a gem in little Italy. We have visited on jazz nights and enjoyed the music, and earlier in the day to enjoy the amazing service for a quiet date on the patio. The best service, amazing food at a really great price. I'd you aren't frequenting here you should be.
Food was excellent as well as the atmosphere. Everyone at the table got something different and it was fantastic. Wait service was fabulous, will definitely return next time we're in San Diego!
This place was awesome. Server was great, Robert! Food was excellent. We were seated immediately. I got the lobster ravioli, it was excellent! Will definitely come back on my next trip to sd.
The food here is superb. I can't go on enough about it. I'm a creature of habit so I normally stick with just a few menu items. Easy favorite dish is the Penne Salmone. I have never had anything like it. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the open kitchen let's visitors connect with their food. Good jazz and blues nights weekly. Something fun to break from the norm.
I went there last night and got the spaghetti with meatballs and a couple Perroni beers, it turned out to be a great move as I had walked by this place a couple times and never really tried it...The meatballs were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing, without the pasta being overcooked or too al dente-- Id highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a solid meal at a reasonable price.
I've been here twice so far, both times during the week, at lunch. Food was pretty good. Decor was very nice, quaint, cozy and upscale. Customer Service was fine, although I was the only one in there at the time. Prices were reasonable, considering the location and cuisine. I definitely anticipiate visiting again, and look forward in checking out their Thursday Night Blues/Jazz Live Music night, as well as their Sunday Jazz night.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – WOW where do i start, first of all they sit you out on the cold patio to make it look busy for people walking by so they get some business, we ordered water which was good and diet coke which was also good, we ordered salads which the Caesar salad was OK, the lasagna was watered down and very bland had to add a lot of Parmesan cheese and salt/pepper in order to eat, the limone chicken was nothing special at all, the chicken catticatore was horrible. the service was bad/slow and kept forgetting stuff we asked for, had to ask hostess for a spoon. The worst part was when we paid, we had a gift certificate from a very reputable radio station, at first the waiter came out and said they would not accept it because they changed names, i got really upset because the name on the door is the same as the certificate, there is no expiration date and it did not say present before ordering, i told him there was no way they are not going to accept it, then the next higher up came out and said they could not accept and i said that's not right, finally the general manager came out and it changed the story from changing names of the place to him telling me that the certificate had already been used which i know is a lie, when i got home i found that there was another review here saying that they would not accept certificates because of management changes. Even though its owned by the same company for years, then he tells me my certificate has been used before which i know was a lie. i told him i was not going to pay and got really upset and raised my voice because i knew he just did not want to accept it because the radio station probably stopped advertising or they had other issues with the station. then he literally threatened me and called me names and followed me out onto the street to provoke me,( some professionalism there). I got in my car with my family and left. SERIOUSLY people go to some other Italian restaurant in the area, this place is bad, its sad i had to give it a 1 star, i wish there was a way to give it a ZERO. THE ONE STAR IS FOR THE BUSBOY, HE DID A PHENOMENAL JOB.
Brutal – undercooked pizza
they put the "wait" in waiter
so many better places on India
