Amazing! Not only did I receive a wonderful prenatal massage from Regina, but it was one of the best overall massages I think I've ever received. She seemed to know exactly where all of my aches and pains were stemming from and worked to fix them all. I will recommend her to everyone I know and will be returning for her postpartum massage experience as well. Thank you Regina!
I have been going to Regina for six years and I cannot say enough about her. She is the most knowledgeable and compassionate therapist I have ever known. She intuitively knows how to help you and her care goes beyond simply her outstanding massages. There is nothing Regina does not seem to know about the body, women, and pregnancy. There is no one like her. She is simply one of my favorite people. Once you meet her, you will understand!
By far the best childbirth instructor! You MUST meet Regina! – Regina is absolutely wonderful. When I was pregnant with my first child, we were looking for a childbirth instructor that taught natural (unmedicated) childbirth ? but we didn?t want an instructor that specialized in any one ?method?. We wanted someone that was knowledgeable, experienced and that would teach us in a clear, concise manner (we didn?t want to sign up for 8-12 weeks of a childbirth class ? we wanted a couple days, that?s it). We also wanted someone that would cover pain management and c/s, just in case. My OB/GYN practice recommended Regina ? and it was a fabulous recommendation. We couldn?t have been happier. Regina is thorough, yet clear and concise. She is a natural teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable about pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. She has awesome tips and tricks for childbirth, and with her guidance, we were able to achieve an unmedicated childbirth in a hospital setting without a doula. We had such a positive birth experience the first time around, we went to Regina for a refresher course when we were pregnant with our second child. Again, she was marvelous, and helped us achieve another very positive unmedicated childbirth. I would wholeheartedly recommend Regina to anyone looking for a childbirth instructor. In my opinion, we couldn?t have found anyone better ? she?s great! (And, she also does prenatal massage. I went to several prenatal massage therapists before trying Regina ? and she was by far the best, taking care of some back pain I had during my first pregnancy.)
Best massage ever. – I got a massage from Regina in my 38th week of pregnancy, and I am kicking myself for not going sooner. The pains in my left hip and my lower back are gone after one visit. The ability to lie on my stomach was wonderful. Regina is incredibly knowledgeable about women and pregnancy. It is clear that this is a passion, not just a job. I wholly recommend going to Harmony's Family for the incredible massages, the atmosphere and information available to pregnant women. I will definitely continue seeing Regina long after my baby is born!
Best massage and care I ever received – In my 35 weeks of pregnancy, the pain in my back and hip got so bad, and I could not even go downstairs using my legs. I had to sit down and scoot down step by step. I tried an acupuncture session, but that did not seem to help.
At a Baby expo trade show, I happened to get a trial massage by Regina.
I didn't expect that to actually help my pain, but it did! I went to the expo because my husband wanted to go. But, by the time we got there, the pain was so bad, I was even having a difficult time walking and thought I would not be able to stay long enough to check all the vendors.
The trial massage really helped, and I was able to walk and stay as long as we wanted.
So, I decided to go to her prenatal massage therapy once a week.
I have not had any flareup since then. As matter of fact, the pain in my hip which was so bad and disabling me is pretty much gone.
Regina, who is also a doula/birth educator helped me when I encountered problems with my ob/gyn. She made my last pregnancy month so much better physically and emotionally.
Best prenatal massage and classes – During my pregnancy I have averaged 2-3 massages a month all over the nation. I consistently go to Harmony's Family when I am in town. They have the wonderful massage bed that you can lay on belly down in a very peaceful setting. Regina has been my massage therapist and she is fantastic. She takes her time and addresses your specific physical needs. I also recommend the classes at Harmony's family. We took the breastfeeding and childbirth education classes. The instructors are very knowledgable and they keep the classes small, so they addressed all of our specific wants and needs. I have taken classes at the hospital and they were painful in comparison! Give them a try!
