rediculous. This salon is owned by the 2 biggest a-holes in the world. Heather, the owner, is homophobic as she is hayseed, and she will preach from her pulpit while the cross around her neck is overshadowed by her over-exposed breasts. There is so much hype about this place; but in reality, they are popular because they made themselves look smalltown and rediculous on national television. Hair Extensions, Follow Up, I spent over $3000 in that Salon and not one Thank You or.
After the hair extensions, follow ups, and additional products that I bought from Chappies, I feel like they look at their customers as cash machines. There is no Thank You, from the owners after you spend $3000 in their store. No phone calls, nothing.
The only thing good to come out of my experience at Chappies is LeAnn Moore. She is sweet and kind and really loves what she does. She is now working at Vintage Salon and Spa in Ft. Mitchell, KY (859-341-8900). Vintage offers all the services that Chappies offers without the rude and elitist attitude.
Don't go to this salon. I went to this salon and had a bad experience. They colored my hair and it turned out gray!! It was horrible. To top it off, I felt out of place there. Normally when you spend good money to get your hair treated, you would think the service would be equivalent. Not here! The owners wife, Heather, walked around all high and mighty and acted as if she was better than everyone. She was so stuck up it was unreal. I do not recommend anyone goes to this salon, unless you like to be treated like dirt and look like dirt, oh and spend good money for it.
Leann Moore, The Best Stylist in N. KY!. Leann Moore is the best stylist Iv'e found in quite some time. She listens to what I want and always pays attention to details. Not only is she amazing with haircuts but also, color and extensions. I cant go on enough about what a talented stylist she is. She actually just recently left Chappies (Im glad!) and has moved to Vintage salon and spa (859-341-8900)........For those of you that havent seen her.....you should definately go and see Leann Moore! You wont be disappointed. Oh and the new salon Leann is at rocks!!!!
Horrible owner....Heather is too nasty and judgemental. What would Jesus do Heather..... I don't think he'd act as you do.....I'm just sayin' it's not a friendly atmosphere. I feel so sorry for Freddie. God has a great sense of humor Heather.....just look around! DUH
I found them very judgemental and not a happy enviroment. I was in this place once with my daughter and we left there and never returned. The man there was real friendly but his wife was a real not nice at all. I seen them on TV last night on a show called Split ends and it showed this woman and she is really that judgemental in person. I am not a skinny blonde. I am actually f full figured redhead. I am the size I am because of steriods I must take to live but even if I was this size because of eating I should not be looked at as though I am not as good as a skinny person and that blonde owner made a comment to another employee and they snickered. I do not care what you say about me but please do not do that to someone who is not as confident as I am with my body. That is devastating for anyone struggling with a weight problem. You are a Christian Facility so please treat people as you would want to be treated. On that show Freddie treated Christian with respect and prayed for him but his wife judged him from day one. God Loves All His Children and We Should Too. Open up your heart and your mind to other people's lifestyle. I know Freddie's wife made a comment at the end of the show and she said he was a nice guy but you could tell it was just done for the camera. I pray that God touches your heart and that you can be open to people that are not blonde and perfect. This world is filled with wonderful, interesting, and faithful people who live all types of lifestyle and no one is any better than anyone else. We Are All God's Children and He Loves Us All The Same. God Bless and I hope that your business thrives but please take my advice and open your hearts to the ones that you have looked down on for they are people just as you are.
Great coustomer service. I have been reading the reviews on this site and some of them are just other people's opinion's but, in my opinion Chappie's is the best place I have ever been to have my hair done.. For one my hair stylist Jenny B. Moved away to another salon which I did not folloe her.. Mistake because I have had to many bad experiences in the past and Jenny is the best. I found Jenny working at Chappie's in the plaza where I work and I was never so happy to have the best hair stylist in town back.. Jenny is very good with people and gives them what they want and she is always happy and cheerfull and I would recommend her to any one.. Jenny B, YOU ROCK!!!!
Not trustworthy with products. Do not buy any product here. They say they give warranty for life on the products and you can bring back the product anytime. When you take it back, they say they no longer carry the product and that they are not responsible for the product. Plsu the people at the reception are not freindly either.
Hair Miracle Worker. I wanted to lighten my brown hair and got it completely butchered by the salon Incognito.. as they said they cannot highlight brown hair? (what!) So it was dyed to be all one color and turned out BLACK. I completely freaked out and called all over looking for anyone who could fix it. I heard about Chappies and called in a frantic freak out because I did not know if this was possible. I was told that there were many procedures they could do to fix it, either a full highlight, or a cleanse to its natural color and highlight. I was so relieved that they could do this without bleaching the color out! I went there not expecting this to even be possible. I was referred to Paula the master colorist and she calmed me down and made it seem simple to fix this. She gave me a heavy highlight and my hair was a beautiful shade of light brown/dark blonde. I was so completely amazed and happy with her professionalism and awesome hair skills. Paula you rule.
Awesome service. I have been to several salons since moving to this area and finally found Chappies and my hair stylist Leann Moore. She is genuine and really wants to make me happy. I bring in pictures of the styles I want and she takes me through each step, ensuring the cut is what I want and the color is okay and keeps checking with me while she is working. She is the only stylist I have had who can actually cut my hair how I ask her too. She also ensures I know how to fix it by giving me tips and showing me easy techniques I can do on my own. She is able to get me in on short notice and is patient and spends time on me I dont realize there is another client behind me as she is focused on me. I definately recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone on the cutting edge of hair design, whether it be cut, color or extensions. I know I will always have a good experience. Thanks Leann!
