Very unprofessional and rude!!!!!! – I rented from avalon for years,I am appauled at the lack of professionalism displayed by the likes of the staff at avalon!!!!!! For all you people out there, this is not a fake review by any means!!!! Please heed my warning, If you gert invoved with this company you will be extremly regretful. The owner Angela is the rudest and most unprofessional of them all, and might I add, that is not saying alot. This company should not be in business! They have NO respect or compassion for they're cleints. She will curse at you, belittle you, and utterly disprespect you, without giving it a second thought.
For your own prortecction I implore you to search elsewhere when finding your next home.
RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL – This is the most unprofessional company I have had to deal with. The owners curse and hang up on you if you ask for a repair order, they expect you to use your own funds to fix something that should be repaired by them. Nice houses but many other companies out there that have same type of home and treat you like an important tenant!
Worst Management Company I have ever dealt with – This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Angela the owner is the most rudest and unprofessional person I have ever encountered. Her customer service skills are TERRIBLE. I should've read all these reviews before I rented a property from her. She also posts tenants names and addresses in replying to negative feedback?!?!?!?!?. Just take the feedback, no she just gets DEFENSIVE and RUDE. She needs to learn how to run a business and deal with the public!
The rental properties are affordable and in great condition however if you call in for a work order, you can pretty much guarantee that you will get "terrible" treatment. I question their credibility to manage such a firm. Either they are overwhelmed and can't handle the stress of managing multiple properties OR they lack ethics and do whatever they can to screw you. Read the reviews from legit customers and NOT those with 5 stars written on the same day... Also, they seem to have gotten caught posting their own 5 star reviews because their latest customer feedback submission is submitted by "Avalon Management"

If you don't mind being charged for things that were out of your control, being cursed at when you call in work orders, and deal with uneducated staff, then I say sign your lease at your own risk. Also, if you want to pay out of pocket to fix damages such as roof leaks, plumbing issues, appliances, AC etc..then go ahead, work with Avalon Management.
Angela Gerard lacks professionalism and business ethics. I'm not bitter because I was screwed, I just want to warn people to beware if considering doing business with this firm. Angela is the owner and will curse you out, hang up on you, and threaten to evict you (even when the property is in excellent condition and rent is paid on time).
I suggest you read all reviews from multiple sites prior to signing a lease and compare her writing and grammar that she posts on these reviews to her "About us" page on her Website. It's clear that she is writing her own positive reviews... All other reviews are negative from both home owners using Avalon Management and Renters (pretty bad) Just saying....

Great People who care about their residents! – This is the best Mgmt Company I have dealt with in the last 5 years of renting. 1st I was in a bind to move out of my current rental and fell in love with a rental that Avalon was managing. I needed to move in quick. Angela the Property Manager stated there were some things in the home that needed fixing before we could move in and didnt think it would be available when I needed to move in. To my surprise the rental was available within a couple days and everything was fixed! Avalon is very professional and care about their tenants! I definatley will stay with them for a while! Keep up the good work!
UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least – Been leasing my place for several years, Avalon Management picked up this property not long ago. THEY FEED ON NEW PROPERTY OWNERS!!! Since their taking over management for the location I reside; there has been nothing but downhill service and professionalism from ALL of their staffing, including Angela, who claims to have the best intention for the residents. Completely a false representation!!! This company is out for blood, not for the sake of building happy, healthy and safe communities!! THINK TWICE BEFORE ALLOWING AVALON MANAGEMENT TO RUIN YOUR PROPERTY & THE SAFETY OF IT'S TENANTS!!
We have enjoyed renting from this company for years. They have always been professional, positive and well spoken. Their overwhelming stability and security emulate in the industry especially is such tough economic times. I highly recommend.
Negative Feedback Being Pushed Down By the Company – What a shame the persons/company in question chooses to push negative feedback down by adding false positive feedback instead of listening and applying the constructive criticism being provided. A wasted opportunity to improve based upon the feedback of others.
After reading some of these reviews, (clearly being pushed down on all of the rating sites by repeated positive posts of the company/person in question), I have to say I'm absolutely shocked at how true to the detail our experiences have been with this management company and the property manager. Everything from threatening and bullying behavior, belittling, being rude, disrespectful and an overall unwillingness to address even just the smallest of solvable problems. It's gotten so bad that the lack of stability and security in their work environment is so thick it can be cut with a knife the instant you walk in the front door of their establishment.
Please, if you're a homeowner wanting to rent your home, find a more emotionally secure management company who is more willing solve problems instead of causing more with their lack of interpersonal skills with customers and lack of professional business ethics.
RUDE!!!!!!!!!! – The most rude and incomprehensive persons I have ever meet. They need urgently a customer service training program. Just waiting on my lease to expire to move out
