SCAM ALERT. When I became worried about the economy around September '09 my initial response was to cut back on expenses. I thought "sell my timeshare."

Miraculously, without me even having to contact anyone, it's like Global Resort Management read my mind, or more accurately, saw an opportunity to capitalize on a worried timeshare owner.

They promised to sell the property within 180 days with a money back guarantee. After about 4 months I called their service number (which by the way comes up with an error message over the last 3 days) to see if anyone had made an offer.

What they failed to mention when I paid them $600 to get my timeshare sold was that I had to renew my service every 90 days. Well you don't know what you don't know, but don't make me feel like an ass when you fail to mention this detail! The service was lackluster and suspect.

Finally, I renewed the service and called again 90 days later, over 180 days total and I continually get "all circuits are busy. Error switch 6-8". (I've called consistently over a three day period from 7/13/10-7/15/10)

Seriously? WTF?!

Please do not propagate this SCAM by letting them prey on your worries, especially when THEY CALL YOU.

I'M CALLING YOU OUT Global Resort Management , make good on your promise or refund my $600 that I paid with interest on my credit card. Refund my money and I'll tell the consumers how it is, how everything was a big misunderstanding and I will re-write my review.

Don't Believe what they say... What I have experienced with Global Resort Mgmt is nothing like I have been reading about. The whole staff at Global Resort Mgmt has been nothing but great - by law, they can NOT accept money up front - they are not a real estate office, they represent a property by marketing it to other potential buyers/sellers. If any one needed to put money in, the buyer would have to do so. I have had excellent, honest representation for all my time share properties. I would recommend Global Resort Mgmt to all of my friends, family and potential clients.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. About a year and half ago a male customer service rep called me and said that they can sell my property in 2 weeks all i had to do was pay $600. That was a year and a half ago and my property is still not sold. When you call back, that guy is nowhere to be found. You have to call the number every 90 days to renew your contract, if you don't call they put your files to an inactive status. There is a young lady named Jenny who is very nasty. She acts as though you owe them something. She talks over you without giving you time to finish talking. They claim economy is slow, they don't inform you if anyone is or is not interesting in your property and you can't even get your money back. I basically gave them $600 dollars to do nothing. I do not recommend anyone to use this company they are con artists.
