not a cool spot at all – I thought we were going to the "coolest" place in town and instead it was a non interesting place with very little going on; the icebar itself isn't much to look at and what is up with the floors... VERY DIRTY!! the ice looks like its melting too.

Not what i expected AT ALL ! – Ok so first of all it is $15 a person if you do it on line and they say you get a free drink after the Ice bar, which we did NOT get. You walk into the room after they give you your cape and gloves (wear a long sleeve shirt because it does NOT cover your whole arm). The room was SO small and they only serve ONE brand of a few flavors of vodka. Each ice drink is $10 and if you use the same cup it is $8 each after that, RIDICULOUS for the nasty vodka they served and how SMALL the ice bar was. There was NO ONE in there, if you are going to go bring A LOT of friends because you will sit there and wonder why would anyone want to come into this place. Yes, the ice glass was cool and it was cool it was all ice but the floor but if YOU REALLY WANT TO SEE SOMETHING AMAZING ALL IN ICE go see the ICE! show at the Gaylord Palms hotel over christmas, now THAT is amazing and worth the money and you get free hot chocolate after. Trust me it is amazing, the ice bar IS HORRIBLE!! not at ALL what we saw on their website!

I may be old, but this place was LAME – My husband and I were looking for something to do after dinner for our 10th anniversary. We picked a restaurant on I-Drive, and I remembered the Icebar, so we thought that would be neat. First thing, when you walk through the door into the "Chill Lounge" the music in deaffeningly loud. I am probably older than their core demographic(34), but this music was just insane. So much so, that while the girl was attempting to scream above the music what the charge was, both myself and my husband were unable to understand her, she had to write down what she was trying to say. That is just nuts! When we finally were able to dictate that we had bought tickets online, we got our capes and gloves and they pushed us through the door. The Icebar itself was very cool, everything is made of ice but the floor, and it is neat, and thankfully the music was not turned on in there (though, due to the loudness you could hear it just fine, it was actually a normal volume) but it was dead. There was one other couple in there, they left after about 10 minutes, then a group of 4 ladies came in, took some pictures and they left. About that time, they turned the music on, and while it was not nearly as load as in the lounge, it was still blaring. Seemed alittle much when it was just the 2 of us. The bartender was very nice, but like I said, dead atmosphere. I can't say we were looking for a rave or crazy party, but a little atmosphere other than an empty room and top volume techno music. For the atmosphere we got, we could have stayed at the bar at our restaurant, at least there was normal volume music and people about. We arrived at about 10:45, and left at 11:30 on a Friday night, so it wasn't like we were there real early or anything. The lounge was also empty, I think we counted about 20 people total in the place. All in all, the ice factor was quite cool, but it was not what we expected, we thought there would be more of a club atmosphere, dancing, conversation, etc. If you are just going to look at cool ice sculpture, it was really neat, but if you are looking to meet someone, dance, chat, or hang out, go somewhere else.

Vodka's never tasted so good... – My husband and I were in Orlando on our honeymoon and stopped into the Ice Bar just to check it out. We ended up staying for several hours and had a ball! Both owners were there and were super friendly...and the drinks were delicious! Love the whole concept...

THE COOLEST PLACE – We went to Icebar on New Years and LOVED it. The ice part was very cool, pun, and amazing with a light show and a HOT bartender. Kept us laughing and the drinks in the ice glass were totally great. Never tasted quite like that. I had lots of cheese and spinach dip, danced and had a ball.

We're going back every time we get to Orlando.

The honeymooner must have not had a good time before they got there?

A real disappointment – My husband and I are in Orlando for our honeymoon, and we needed something fun to do for New Year's. The Ice Bar was cool, but everything else was not. We paid $55/person, and there was no where to sit, (well, unless you are a VIP) it took at least 15 minutes to get a drink from the bar, and when I asked the staff to hold my coat they said they couldn't. Also, they was supposed to be light food served--they served BBQ potato chips. For as classy as this place is trying to look, BBQ potato chips doesn't seem to fit that bill. Bottom line, we should have spent our money somewhere else.

Chill out with a cocktail in a frozen glass as you experience an icy ambiance. – In Short
Enter a 1,375-square-foot, year-round winter wonderland type-of-bar set at 27 degrees and constructed out of 50 tons of ice from 15,000 gallons of recycled water in Orlando's I-Drive district. Start a 45-minute icy excursion with a thermal parka and gloves and relax in cold surroundings with a frozen glass of vodka or other concoction while perusing ice sculptures and hanging out at ice tables with peeps or family members before ending the Arctic expedition.
