Badcat. Love the tapas, the Casuelita de Mariscos is my favorite, I can't get enough! Tapas Variadas are also a great snack, but the Paella Valenciana is the best in the menu!! So fresh and delicious, huge portions of seafood! Yummy! you got to try it.

great tapas, great vegetarian options tasty tasty tasty. Just love this place great vegetarian and healthy options which is a plus in my book. I love that Canela has options for breakfast, just for coffee or a glass of wine and tapas, salads, family style meals that you can share amongst friend and the price is right. I have seen business meeting, graduation parties, weddings, anniversary parties. Canela has a small staff but ask for your things in advance like instead a glass of water ask for a carafe and sometimes you have to wait knowing they make everything fresh to order so it is worth the wait. But when I am in rush I always call my order in,delivery or take out. Canela definitely went through the growing pains with the construction on Biscayne blvd, recession and certain staff she could have done without. The owner being a single mother and cooking and shopping everyday, I have to give her props it's not easy to do it alone. ..So in conclusion I love Canela and it's a different restaurant experience for some not good (give her another chance)or for the canela'ites as we like to call ourselves we love it and it always a treat, you can't please everyone in life(but let her try ) ... I feel her being a native of Miami she really got the heart of her culture the flavor and the soul of what is Miami is a mix, this a Miami jewel, and I will hate to see it go. mucho besos

Best Tapas and delish Sangria. loved the neighborhood feel and comfortable ambiance. Amazingly tasty food, not heavy. The best sangria i've had in Miami and surprised at the extensive and excellent wine selection on menu for such a small place. the waiter was very nice and cute too! All in all it was a very good deal for the large portions they give and the prices were reasonable.

LOVE IT , Its casual, urban, artsy and yummy place to eat! Ohh and very affordable. Its one of my favorites hidden spots in Miami, the food its amazing, like my abuela (grandma) was in the kitchen cooking my favorite meals. They have all sorts of tapas, Cuban and Spanish food and nice variety of Vinos from Argentina and Spain to choose from.... my food was yummmy !!! Love the Casuelita de Mariscos, I totally recommend it! If you are on a romantic date or just want to hang out with good friends, this restaurant is so cosy, with a warm home vibe.. ohhh and don't forget to check out all the colorful Lebo's artwork on the walls, its all over the place. LOVE IT!!!

Never Again. the waitress was rude

she tended to the only other couple besides us there with more attention

my glass of WATER was never refilled

for the price i would have gone somehwere else

nice decor

only when you paid was the waitress polite

other than that she was indifferent

rude when my husband asked for a side order of bread

would not recommend this place

Come for the traditional tapas and stay for eclectic ones at this cozy tapas and wine bar.. In Short
Expect the unexpected at this inviting tapas bar where conventional starters like meat pastries, ham croquettes and fried calamari rub elbows on the menu with fried chickpeas in a meaty sausage sauce or vegan-friendly baked eggplant with tomato and goat cheese. Sandwiches and entrees are also available, but happy-go-lucky patrons prefer to order up a series of diverse appetizers to really take their palates out for a whirl. A full wine bar is included, though the drink of choice is the fruity sangria, available by the glass, half-carafe, or -- for the truly adventurous -- a large carafe.
