Harrison's - Pricey, Horrible Food – The waiter and bus boy were excellent. They gave extremely high-class service, and we tipped them far over and above the mandatory 18% that was attached to our receipt. Unfortunately, the service was the only excellent part of our meal. We dropped $250+ for two people a completely lousy meal.

We had to find the manager to let us into the restaurant, because the two females checking in guests at the front were extremely rude, ignored us, and were only interested in talking to themselves, even though there was no one waiting to get in except us (it was 9:30 on a Friday night).

The food was awful. The lobster was overcooked, the asparagus was overcooked, the crabcakes were full of filler rather than crab, the sea bass was too fishy. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, however. The Hearts of Romaine were served in a sloppy, low-end, "cut the lettuce in half" style, rather than in the proper, high-end, "pull each lettuce leaf off the stalk and plate it nicely" style. Plus, there were no anchovies, which are usually served with Heart of Romaine Caesar salads - at least, at high end restaurant.

By the time we left, around 11:00 p.m., there was a huge crowd outside the door - clubbers trying to get in. There was a velvet rope keeping people out and clubber pushing to get in. It was complete chaos. We couldn't figure out the attraction. There was no one famous inside. Just loud club music and people standing around at the bar. There was no place for dancing. And there was a couple who were literally sleeping at their table for over an hour ... what a low class joint.

Harrison's is a wolf in sheep's clothing. It presents itself as a high-end, expensive restaurant. It fails at being a good restaurant, and is simply an expensive club with terrible food.
