My New Beautification Station – I'm not really artsy and girly but I needed a facial and my friend recommended Ohana. I made an appointment for a facial that will leave my face really clean and they put me for a Pore Cleansing Facial. I went in a week ago and the facialist also did my brows. I love my results. I've so far have gotten many compliments on my skin and for the first time,my eyebrows. I love this place and vow to make it a part of my beauty routine.
Best make-over! – I went to Ohana with my Mom for a spa day for a Facial, brows and make-over and we had the best time and had the best results. The girl did a great job with my skin and my brows which have never looked better. At the end she put mineral make-up on us and she assured us that it wouldn't clog our pores especially after a facial. We came out beautiful, naural looking and with killer brows. They don't do manicures or pedicures here but that's ok because I have my lady. This place is a do!!!
Feel riped off :( – COMPLETELY unprofessional! I had bought a living social coupon for a mani-pedi. I must have called a dozen times over a number of weeks to set up my appointment to which I didn't get an answer and no one ever returned my calls from the messages I left. The Saturday before my coupon was going to expire I finally got someone on the phone by calling over and over again until someone picked up. The lady that answered the phone said not to worry, to go online to the manicurist website and make the appointment and that the coupon would be honored, so I did. Then the week of the appointment, it was canceled via email, I called the number for the manicurist to find out why and the person that answered said the manicurist wasn't there but that living social had told them they couldn't honor it. So, I called living social who said not only did they not tell them that, but would never preclude a business from honoring expired coupons and that at the very least I must be given credit for the value I paid. I called back the number for the manicurist who still wasn't there and the person that answered the phone then hung up on me when I was explained that under Florida law they had to at least give me the credit for the value I paid, I tried calling back and leaving a couple messages that were never returned. I then called the salon leaving multiple messages explaining the situation and never got a call back. Thankfully Living social refunded the coupons but I hope there are no to many others in my situation.
Worst facial ever at Ohana Spa – I had negative experiences with Ohana Spa of South Miami in terms of scheduling, customer service, and the quality of their spa services. I emailed them about scheduling and did not receive a reply; I left a voicemail message several days earlier and did not receive a call back. When I went in, they did not have me down on the book for a mani/pedi--an appointment they confirmed when I called that morning! During that call, they asked me to come in one hour later than scheduled, which I obligingly did, and I still had to wait over half an hour for my facial. (They claimed they were having problems with their online scheduling service but also messed up appointments I made by phone.) And, it was the worst facial I have ever gotten! Zero massage; the aesthetician instead left the room for long periods of time during steaming and a mask. To her credit, the extractions were thorough. The facility wasn't nice either.
The best in spa services!!!! – I love this Spa and you will too.
I was given a gift certificate for a complete Spa Package. I first tried Ohana's Facial and eyebrow wax and I felt it was the most complete facial i've ever had and my face wasn't red and beaten up afterwards. My eyebrows came out beautiful, too. I went back for the mani & pedi and Sandra was amazing. I really recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a great place that doesn't have crazy prices. I'm hooked!
