Dining room doubles as an art gallery.... I go to Geno's for their Prime Rib happy hour on Monday. You can't beat the price and the food is some of the best I've had in the Pittsburgh area. Surprisingly, I also got to see an art show. The owners graciously give up their dining room wall space so local artists can display their works. The bartender -- they also have three of the prettiest bartenders there as well -- told me that the feature artist changes weekly. I thought this was a really unique and generous idea.
Exactly what Lawrenceville needed.... Geno's is great all around. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the owners are always mingling to ensure that the food and service are of highest quality. They have live music for free every Thursday and Friday night, karaoke is fun on Saturday nights and there is a rotating art show in the dining room at all times! I highly recommend their prime rib and the fisherman's platter!
