Love there food – The food there is great and i LOVE the outside sitting area. The best on in pittsburgh. It gets busy fast so the food does take a little longer than it should to come out but I don't mind waiting for there mini burger platter :D
great bar food – Great drinks, atmosphere, and food. The new owners should pat themselves on the back. The menu is great.
The only patio in town – The food is great, the atmosphere is friendly, and the drinks are hearty. That's all you need to know.
good food, bad server – We went to lunch at the Harris Grill on a Tuesday afternoon. It was not crowded - there were two or three open tables outside which does not happen often on a nice day - and maybe one table inside. We waited at least a half an hour for our food. We realized quickly that all of the focus from the staff was about a table of 9 who were apparently top priority at the time. Our server took our order - the appetizer hummus, (which never came) a chicken caesar salad, and a gyro - and never came back. When we asked her, after close to a half hour, if she knew about how much longer our food would be, she responded, with much attitude, that she would "would check on that". We got our food about 5 minutes after that, minus the hummus. She never came back to see how everything was, apparently she was too focus on making sure that her large table had their plates cleared and their checks in front of them. We had to ask another server about our hummus when she brought our check out - I guess our server was just too overwhelmed with such a large table.
The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, but the server needed to tone down the attitude a bit. And it felt good leaving only a couple of bucks instead of the usual 25 or 30 percent tip. She didnt give a hoot so neither did we.
a must!!!! – My favorite bar in Pittsburgh. Among the best I've been to. Get a few frozen cosmos and baby burgers, and you'll have a great night ahead of you!
horrible service and overpriced food – I went to Harris's for a girls night out and the experience was pretty dissapointing. The hostess took forever to seat us and the waiter rarely stopped by for drink refills. The food was overpriced average bar food. It was nothing to write home about. I have found several better restaurants in the same area.
Delicious. – Went to PA on other errands. Hadn't heard of this place. But was nearby. I am completely glad that we stopped here. I had the falafel pita and my friend had the salmon on ciabatta. We we're not displeased. At all. The staff was friendly and talkative if you wanted them to be. left you alone when you didnt. And the food was damn delicious. We will be driving back the two hours just for this place sometime again.
