Nail Salon Truly Cares – Great Pedicure at a Nail Salon that Truly Cares- a rare gem in Philladelphia! There are so many nail salons in South st it's almost impossible to be able to predict the good from the bad so obviously I needed to consult reviews. I typed in best nail salons Philly and the first thing that popped up was nailpolishbarspa and after I read all the reviews I thought why not, it's worth a try. I went in and was impressed at not only the large selection of top brand nail polishes Nailpolish had, but the unique nail treatments I had never seen before at a typical nail salon. It literally took me forever to decide which nail treatment I wanted as I'm terrible with decisions, but in the end I decided to try the Spa pedicure surprisingly refreshing. I loved it!! It's so much better than your typical pedicure It truly was like 40 minutes of heaven. !

Shellac Manicure – Shellac manicure at Nail Polish Bar Spa, in case you're not familiar with the gel nail craze, it's much different than your run of the mill manicure. In this process, thin layers of gel are applied to the nails and cured under an ultraviolet light to create a highly durable, glossy finish, and can reportedly last a few weeks. Manicurist Tee applied my Shellac, I noticed that the manicure took place almost in reverse. Cuticles are first pushed back and nails prepped with a swipe of acetone to prep for color. After polishing, the more indulgent hand massage and lotions are applied, so as not to risk interfering with the polish application or color adherence to the nail. After two week, I am amazed at how the high-gloss finish was still sparkling and fresh. The one drawback is that Shellac can only be applied in salons.

Perfect every time – Love Nail Polish Bar Spa, I don't get fakes but my french pedicures come out perfect every time. The white line is straight and thin, the polish not too thick and they last. Plus my girlfriends and I always have a blast there.... well the latter could just be from the free wine they serving us.

2-3 Week Gelish Manicure – I have been using Gelish since May and love the fact it remains shiny forever, it doesnt chip and is so quick to apply, especially with the LED lamp curing the gel. I go Nail Polish Bar Spa the manicures name Ti, She do such great job. My gelish mani last between 2- 3 week.

For Gorgeous Nails, Go To Nail Polish! – I go to Tee, the owner, and her gel/powder/acrylic nails are incredible. They look remarkably natural and thin and I only have to get refills every 3 to 4 weeks. I also think the prices are pretty reasonable and competitive with other salons.

This is a higher-end salon and very pretty inside. It is spotlessly clean. Tee is the most accommodating person I've ever met--she really just wants her customers to be happy and goes above & beyond to make that happen.

This is a cash-only place (there is a Wawa across the street with an ATM) with lots of street parking available.

Great Mani/Pedi – Great place to drop in and get a mani/pedi. I love that you don't need to have an appointment. I've never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for them to get me started. The massage they give during the pedicure is the best ever!! The salon is cute and funky, very clean, and several steps up from a mall salon where nobody speaks English. It costs a little more than those mall places but it was totally worth the price.

cute and trendy – Nail Polish is one of my favorite places to go with my girlfriends. The salon looks trendy on the outside and cute but definitely lives up to its expectations on the inside also. Their design is very unique and modern, doesn't look like the typical nail salon you walk into. Customer service is great! They really take care of your there. They recently renovated the salon with new pedicure chairs that offer great massages! There's also huge flat screen tvs everywhere to add onto their unique look inside. If you're down the city you definitely have to check this place out!

Chips in a day... – While Nail Polish looks like a cute/nice place from the outside, in my experience it is both pricey and not great quality. Every time I get my nails done there (toes too) my polish chips within a day. Add to that less than stellar service and I just don't think it's worth the price. There are better spots that cost less....
