Best Pizza joint in Amherst/Lorain – I've been a customer of this Domino's Pizza for years now, and let me first start off by saying that this isn't the right address. I think at some point there was a Domino's on Broadway, but the correct address is 1905 Cooper Foster Park Road in Amherst. The store is located in the Amherst Plaza between Subway and Amherst Brew and Wine.

Anyway, as far as the actual review... Domino's doesn't really have a great reputation in the pizza industry due to the whole 30 mins or less thing back in the 1980's and early 90's. However, at this particular location, from what I've seen, the delivery drivers drive safely and don't really speed around town much. The managers and people that work inside the store are knowledgeable about Domino's products, and they produce a great product quickly and consistently. I generally order for delivery, usually on weeknights. I usually receive my order in under a half hour, and it's almost always correct. When I call the store and ask what specials are running, they are given to me concisely and the person on the phone generally gives me at least 2 or 3 specials or asks me what I'm looking for or how much food I need to purchase, then points me to a few specials that would best meet my needs. Also, when I have birthday parties or other parties at my house and need to order something like 5 large pizzas for that evening, Domino's gives me a good deal, and also gets it there on time 95% of the time. Rarely is a large, pre-planned order more than 5 minutes late.

Overall, I think Domino's Pizza is the best pizza in the Lorain/Amherst area. I have also been to the Domino's in Elyria, and found them to be pros as well. You can tell when you enter both stores that the store maybe isn't in the greatest condition, but that it's pretty much as clean as a pizza joint can be. You can also see that the employees are well-trained, and a handful of them have been around for the last few years.

Overall, I give Domino's in Amherst/Lorain a 5/5!
