Bought three rooms of furniture. Bought warranties for two.
One piece of furniture has a dent in it and I have been calling for 15 months to get it repaired.
Turns out the store did not give me the "warranty box" and I was to register my furniture. How can I register my furniture without the warnaty # to do so? For some reason, the store does not understand that I cannot register a warranty number if they do not give me the information or # to do so.
So, here I am 15 months later. Still battling and having to tell my story over and over again....
I have spoken with managers in Springdale and Mason stores with promises that they will return my call in 1-2 days.... guess what? No return calls. Tells you something huh? Not just one manager. Quite a few...
Do not buy with Ashley. You will regret it.
Poor furniture quality, extremely poor repair service. Our sofa recliner broke almost immediately after the warranty expired. I have been trying since November (now end of January) to get repaired. You must prepay everything, first service call, the part needed (which was wrong, had to be reordered) and the second service call which is more expensive than the first. YOU the customer must call, call & call to make sure everything happens. It is the worst experience I've ever had buying furniture and will never go back there.
Terrible customer service. Did not even notify us when our order was in after having us wait almost 3 weeks later than told we would have to wait. Ordered four pieces. Three were fine, one was damaged. Contacted customer service the day we picked up the furniture to let them know a piece was damaged just like the sales rep told us to. They insisted that we either brought it all the way back and wait 10 days to pick up a new one or we had to pay 50 bucks to have them deliver. They sold us a defective piece of furniture at full price, why would we have to pay them to bring us what we ordered in new condition? I told them if we brought back one piece we were not waiting and we would bring it all back for a refund. They were fine with that. Why?: Because they said if anything was damaged during transit to bring back the other pieces than we had to pay knowing full well that it was unpackaged at this point. Crooks and scam artists. We will never buy from them again!
please shop around – customer service is terrible. were they nice? Yes. were they helpfull? No!! I had an issue with the furniture falling apart within a year of purchase. I bought the insurance so im covered right? NO. The insurance company said its a problem with the manufacturing. Ashley says the insurance should fix it. For months they point the finger at each other meanwhile im stuck with garbage for furniture, and they dont even care.
crooks!!!! – croocks!!! bait and switch. The furnature in the store is not what they'll deliver and you cann't take it back or even have your credit card help you because they make you wait three months on your couch. Sat on couch in store was ok. what they delivered was a completely different couch stucturally!! no support like sitting in an oversized dresser drawer full of pillows. without a doubt the most uncomfortable piece of furnature ever!! and we paid over $2000. The cops should bust them!! called, guy sounded like he was about the laugh on the other end. explained that becuase we purchased months ago no refunds and credit card company said we had 90 days from the date of purchase to get money back but of corse they take over 90 days to deliver. I'll never buy anything from them again and will not miss a chance to let everyone know how I feel about them. run away from them and anyplace where you cann't sit on the couch buy it and take it home.
Awesome Service – My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture to buy a new bed in which I wanted for Christmas and had the best experience . We walked in not really sure of what we wanted but a man asked us if we needed help and we said no and continued to look around and he never bothered us again until we asked for his help. We decided to get some advice on one of the products and he was very helpful he didn't try to push us into buying anything just gave us answers to our questions. We ended up purchasing the bed and he was very polite he apologized when the computer was taking a couple of minutes and explained the reciept to us and scheduled the delivery at no cost to us. We really enjoyed purchasing our bed from there and if in the future we wish to purchase anything else we will definitly be purchasing it from Matt @ Ashley furniture again!!!
Terrible Service – Hello good people of Cincinnati. I just wanted to let you know about the inept customer service at Ashley Furniture. First let me start off by saying they have pretty good furniture and we have spent at least $5000 at this store. I recieved a frequent customer flyer in the mail so the family and I decided to go check it out. We eventually spent $2800 on some furniture and accesories. The salesman said everything would be delivered all on the same day. Low and behold I recieve a call about a week later from the salesman saying that the accesories (lamps, candle holders,end tables, etc..) will not be delivered when the furniture is delivered. Just a minor problem, no big deal. A week later the furniture is delivered and the coffee table and end tables are with the furniture but not the other accesories (rug,candle holders, picture,lamp). The guys who delivered the furniture said that I will have to go back to the store to pick up my accesories because they dont deliver accesories. Another problem right. I call the store and the saleman said the accesories would be at the store in a week. A week later I called and my salesman wasn't in so I spoke to a office manager and he said it would be two more weeks. Two weeks later pass and I explained that I was getting very upset and my wife is beyond upset and we want our accesories for the holidays. Another guy tells me the stuff will be in Monday which is another week later, so I tell him I will come pick it up Tuesday. On Tuesday I have one foot out the door and something told me to call to make sure Im not wasting my time gas. Once again I get the it's not here story. So I explained to the lady on the phone the situation and she pushed me off to my original salesman and he says that he will call me back. Now while writing this review, my salesman calls me back which is about 2 hours later, and tells me I can come pick it up tommorrow. So well see how this one turns out. I will never spend another dime from my pocket at and Ashley Furniture. Thanks for listening people.
Buyer Beware! – BUYER BEWARE! I used to be a fan of Ashley Furniture . Not anymore!Their quality and service has gone downhill! My husband and I purchased several pieces of furniture there (Tri County location) and immediately had problems with several items (the quality!!). Ashley furniture wanted to repair but not replace the items. Our sofa and loveseat were eventually "repaired"., but not to a new or even satisfactory condition. So I called a manager who promised to call me back. Weeks and weeks went by, no phone call, so I called again. Next, a different manager called saying they were looking into it and even tells me that several other customers have had similar problems with their same sofa and loveseat! But...More time went by with none of my calls being returned even after several messages. Now, a totally different manager calls and says it is too late to replace them. She says she had no knowledge of me speaking to the other managers...and to top it off this manager was extremely rude on the telephone! She finally did admit and see where I had called but would not back the product or offer a feasible solution. I tried to be super polite, biting my tongue, hoping it would help get this issued resolved. It didn't help...I was appalled at the way that this lady and Ashley Furniture have handled this matter. Ashley Furniture gets an D- in quality and an F in customer service from me!
