Worst Restaurant Ever – Pita Palace has a $9 "gyro" which is utterly indistinguishable from, and indeed inferior to, a $6 or $7 dollar gyro you would get from any other Middle Eastern or Greek restaurant. That price won't even get you a drink or the other items they gouge customers for. Couple this with indifferent to unfriendly service and an interior worthy of a Subway in a bad neighborhood, with inadequate seating, and it is a mystery as to why this place has any business whatsoever. A truly miserable dining experience.
Authentic taste of the Middle East, served hot and fresh – Stuck in traffic on LaVista or Briarcliff? In a hurry for a quick, healthy lunch? Be sure to drop by and grab one of Pita Palace's few tables. Fresh handmade pitas are served hot and made to order with fillings ranging from a classic swarma roasted chicken to a delicious vegetarian falafel. Can't choose? Rely on the advice of Pita Palace's friendly staff.
Note: the restaurant is closed Saturdays
