My thoughts on Dr. Cheryl Young is that she was very personable, patient with questions, very informative. Loved her to peices, But on the other hand the office does NOT have it together, making call backs when they say they are going too, and when i called the office and asked if they had made a time for my surgery they were very rude and said they would get back with me when they could, not to mention 2 months prior when i came in to talk and set up the operation, they didnt not EVER call me back to let me know it was approved that we could go ahead with it, i had to call the office to ask what was going on. So needless to say if the office could get it together it would i would have no problems continuing going.

I received recently bills from Dr. Young's office that are dated 5 years ago. I have never been without coverage; these bills are for full office's visits (not co-pay). My insurance carrier has no record of the visits nor a record of claims filed. Dr. Young and her office manager are crooks. I will not recommend her to anyone!!!!!! I don't mind paying if I owed, but I don't owe her anything. I would like to report her to the medical broad. Enough already, STOP!!!!!!

Totally disappointed. Agree with "patientconcerned", this doctor is off the chart when it comes to professionalism and putting patients needs first. She's arrogant and has no bedside manners. DO NOT GO HERE. The staff has changed consistently, there is only one lady that stays, why I don't know. "iamthelady" save your gas, you can do better in Macon. I also had surgery performed by Dr. Young, but never again. She didn't consider my wants and needs at all.

The Best Dr for the 21st Century. I've taken my time about finding a doctor since my previous doctor retired. I look for someone that will help cure the problem, not just control it. She's always come through for me. I'm not big on medication, but she actually listens and helps to find the best solutions. She did have her dog at her office, but to me, that's a benefit as pets are known to help with healing. I've been going to Dr. Young for over a year now. And I've seen a few new faces that replace each other, but there are 3 permanent employees that are always there and always care. I had surgery in February and was scared to death about the level of pain that I was told by others who had the same procedure with different physicians. Dr. Young assured me of great results. I trusted her - and my life has changed for the best. I drive from Macon, yet would go further for such a great physician. If you're looking for old-school, she's not it. This facility is inspiring and innovative - they actually care about you.

TERRIBLE. If you're thinking of hormone replacement, do NOT go here! As an OB/GYN she should know all about women's hormones but she doesn't and prescribes potentially harmful hormones and supplements. The lack of communication is a HUGE drawback. She doesn't return phone calls. Extremely unprofessional. Ever seen a dog wandering around a Dr.'s office??? This doctor brings her dog to work. Staff has an extreme turnover rate, -7 new people in less than a year's time. Contact your nearest compound pharmacist for a list of doctors who prescribe natural hormones.
