Lucky to have 'em on the Eastside. The instructors at RMI are some of the top players in the Seattle metro area. There is always a fun atmosphere in the place, and the quarterly recitals are a blast. Sign up for some of the ensemble classes - that's a great way to connect with other musicians in the area. RMI also hosts a lot of interesting "one off" events featuring out-of-town greats who are passing thru Seattle.

Excellent teachers, great for seriously leraning the guitar. Top teachers including Jay Roberts and Don Mock (google'em). Classes for blues, rock, and jazz. Ensembles practice for a semester then play their songs at a recital. Very valuable if you're serious about REALLY learning your instrument.
