A perfect rainy day hideout. Nervous Nellie's serves coffee and toast. Yes, you read that right. Toast. One menu item is ok when that one item is delish! Their toast is of the thick Texas-type variety and is baked locally (Tall Grass, I think?). Top that with any combination of butter, cinnamon and sugar (my fave), jam, cheese, lox, cream cheese, peanut butter and others that cannot immediately be recalled. :) It's a spacious place with loads of seating. Challenge your companion to a game of scrabble (or any one of a number of games they have on hand) and while away a rainy afternoon in cinnamony sweet comfort.
