FILTHY, never served, had to walk out. My boyfriend and I were in U. Village and decided that Johnny Rockets looked fun and tasty. We couldn't have been more wrong. After waiting to be seated for a few mins, we were yelled at to "sit anywhere". (How were we supposed to know to seat ourselves?) I slid into a booth and promptly set my foot into water/liquid that had pooled under our table. The vomitty/milky/french fry floating water squished into my brand new Tory Burch ballet flat. We moved to a new table. We waited, and waited and waited some more for at least some water, or a "Hi, I'm your server, I'll be with you shortly", but we got nothing. We waited for 14 mins watching the debacle around us. Looking around, the staff looked miserable, grungy, dirty and unshowered. (Not the kind of people I would want touching my food). We got zero service and not so much as an apology as we left without being tended to after 17 mins. It was 3:30 in the afternoon and the restaurant was about 50-60% full.

In a place like the University Village I would expect 20 times a better establishment. I really hope that they do not allowed for Johnny Rocket's lease to be renewed when the time comes. Unacceptable.

Bad Food, Bad Bathrooms, Dirty Floors,and Bad Service. I had my son?s birthday party there last night. It was one of the most irritating experience. I thought Johnny Rocket?s was a clean wholesome diner with a retro look. I found the floors to be dirty. The bathroom sink wasn?t working (imagine the impact on hygiene). The service was awful, the server forgot half the order and to top it all out the meal was not served together?e.g. the fries came separate from the hamburgers. The food was served in a very distasteful manner. I am surprised that despite the clean interior there were numerous health code violations.

Word to the wise?stay away !
