BEST CHOICE FOR SPAYING – Excellent service and care for a low cost. The staff really know their stuff! Highly recommended!
Best Experience – I came here for a low cost spay for my dog. I could not have expected a better experience. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and helpful. It is a well run machine so can feel a bit like a factory line... but the care that my dog received was top notched. They were able to accomodate my schedule, it was easy to make an appointment, they were throrough as far as after care was concerned, and I was able to get a number of services added onto the initial spay appointment.
I would recommend this route over the over-priced vets that are located in my area that were quoting over 600 dollars for a spay and I have heard nothing but bad experiences.
This facility was amazing and I wouldn't recommend anywhere else for this procedure.
Would definitely recommend them! – took my 7 month old kittens to get neutered here from a recommendation given to me by my neighbor. I'm so glad we did. My vet wanted $350.00/per kitten including an overnight stay, but NO ONE is there monitoring them so why would I leave them???? PFA staff was very professional, clean facility and even though they were very busy, everything was organized. Please make sure you get a list of the things the shelter needs, so we can help them more, if you can. I only paid $170.00 for both kittens which included the surgery, pain medicine for home, nail clipping and cones for their heads. I felt SO bad putting the cones on them, but it was for their own good so they didn't lick their wounds. Their surgery was Tuesday and it's now Thursday today and I've since taken their cones off and boy are they happy. I only did this because their (surgical glue) stitching was so well held together that I know they won't open their wounds. I'm monitoring them and had them stay in their bedroom for 24 hours to make sure they were ok. The were SO out of it after the anesthesia, which was expected. They were growling and hissing at one another, but today they are perfectly fine and their beautiful, happy selves. Back to their normal routine. I'm so thankful they are ok. Once again, I would definitely recommend PFA. But fyi, the parking is terrible there. Try to get a spot on the street. Really nice people and I'm thankful we had a great experience. Good luck to you all!
401 Hillside Ave., Hillside, NJ – I had my cat spayed here yesterday. No problems. You do have to wait in line when you drop off your animal and also when you pick up - but it's so worth it to save over $250 on altering your animal, isn't it? They staff are very professional and the clinic is very clean with no bad smells or dirt anywhere that I could see. They explain the aftercare very well and ask any questions you have. I am very pleased.
AMAZING SERVICE! I recomend them!!! – It's been 2 weeks since my dog (a 6 months old Cairn Terrier) has being neutered at the 'People For Animals Inc' and he couldn't be healthier and happier.
The people from 'People For Animals Inc' was very professionals and helpful.
I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there. Didn't worry a bit because I could feel they were really doing they best and everything would be just fine.
I got there at 7am and waited in line outside the building until they opened. After they opened the doors the process was very fast. I met with the 'nurse' and she explained everything and she took my dog to a room then I left.
I got back to pick him up at 4:30pm and there was no parking spaces available, lots of people but the process to pick him up was fast and easy as well.
Just get there early (around 4pm) and you won't have a problem.
They do a group presentation explaining how to take care of your dog/cat and then they answer questions. Very helpful. You even get a paper home with all the info. They offer pain medication for $20 but I didn't get it because I knew my dog wouldn't need it but most of the people got it.
They handled my dog to me already with the e-colar (that I purchased at check-in) and he was just fine.
He was very sleepy because of the anesthesia but he eat well after 8pm. He was very mellow and asking for extra attention for the next whole week but he wasn't feeling any pain. I can say that he was 100% back to normal within a week. I kept the e-colar only when I left the home and for sleeping because he was very tempted to lick the area. I gave him a bath after 10 days.
My little puppy is feeling great and strong!!!
I'm very pleased with 'People For Animals Inc' services.
I'm very glad they exist and offer this service for such a low cost.
You DON'T need to pay $500 for neuter/spay to prove you love your dog. These low cost facilities is just a good as your vets.
THANK YOU SO MUCH 'People For Animals Inc' !!!!!
