Party – Had a private party for my son and the evening before the party my wife and I went over to give a written list of instructions on what we wanted set up, how we wanted the room to look, when we wanted the food to come out, etc.... To be fair, the food was delicious and we had many compliments from our guests regarding it. However, when we arrived the room was not set up the way we were promised and expected (we had to have our guests set up the bar because none of the wine bottles were opened like we asked and no beer was in ice like we asked). We specifically asked if they would have an area for out guests to leave their jackets and the manager assured us they would take care of it. There was no coat check of any kind. The food was coming out before we had asked for it to come out. We asked them to take the salads and the food back until everyone was settled. They then went ahead and removed all the salads and food, except for one salad on one table (not sure why, guess they forgot). When the food finally did come out (it was buffet style which is what we agreed to), one of the trays was emptied and it took them atleast 10 mins to come back and replace it (meanwhile people were waiting in line). The manager did come out at one point to apologize and tell my wife that the reason they were falling behind on our party was because the party next door brought more people than expected (Not our problem!). Finally, at the end of the party my wife and I asked for them to please cut the cake. It ended up taking them atleast a half hour to come back to cut it. By that point more than half the guests had left. The manager put on a great show the night before assuring us that everything would be taken care of (meanwhile, the day of the party he never even came into our room to check on us). We left VERY dissapointed. I will never go back to that restaurant.

My Favorite in Collingswood – Everytime we go to Bistro Di Marino we always have a great dining experience. Besides the fare being wonderful, I like the fact that it is located in a quiet setting which makes dining a little quieter, conversation easy flowing and creates a relaxing evening. I look forward to returning again soon.

best value italian food in collingswood -- the $10 gourmet lunch buffet is amazing – how many is too many?

at last count , i counted at least 7 italian restaurants in dining destination, collingswood nj!

yikes!

but this one stands alone in value. i have eaten there several times and each time it seems to get better.

the lasagne beats anything mom made!

bring a great red wine, a few friends and make a reservation!

chef jim makes everyone feel at home at his place. they have expanded

THREE times since opening a few years ago. that says it all!

Excellent Italian bistro faire served in a buffet setting at a reasonable price; Reserve for evenings and weekends – I went to lunch with my colleagues; we enjoyed the lunch buffet. There was an excellent selection of Italian salads, soups, and entrees with a dessert of strawberries and cream. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable. The setting was rustic with raw brick and mortar with eclectic jazz playing in the background. My colleagues really enjoyed it. One remarked that "It was the best chicken parmigiana I ever had."

We were in and out quickly with no problems with seating. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Call ahead for reservations on evenings and weekends as the place packs quickly.

PS - One thing I really like are the fundraisers that are held there. It really gives you a sense that they are interested in the well-being of the community.

Top of the List – This Restaurant has change a lot of both mine and my wifes thinking of how good Italian food can be. I took my wife here for the first time on here birthday and it is not going to be our last time either. The food I can't say enough about and the service was right on point.
