Truly dedicated – I had a great experience with this company. I wish all salesman were like JG. He walked me through and explained to me his quote and about HVAC systems. He was not in a rush to get out the door and wanted to make sure all my questions were answered. We told him our budget and he worked with us to try and provide the best system possible for our price range. Comfort Wizards is not the cheapest around, but has some of the highest quality. When they performed the startup they stayed unit it was finished, it was a late night, but everything worked and JG even followed up the next morning to see if there was anything else we needed.
Excellent Service – I have worked with JG, a Comfort Wizards salesman and found him to be professional, knowledgeable, and not your typical salesman. His concern was not a quick sale, but the total package the overall comfort of my home and family. He was thorough and explained why he recommended certain equipment over others. We were not able to purchase from him at this time, but once we can we MOST CERTAINLY will.
Do NOT use – We used Comfort Wizards through our home warrenty company and it was a disaster. It took over SIX weeks for them to finally fix our air conditioner. It took them a week to come look at the system, over 15 days to order a part, another week to install the part, another week to come back after the system broke the next day, and another week to order the second part and install. I am fairly confident that it only took them the last week with the second part because our realtor was on the phone with corporate and there was pressure. Otherwise I firmly believe I'd still be here sweating.
I'm sure not all of this was Comfort Wizards inability to take care of thier customers in a timely fashion, as I'm sure AHS had a part in all of this too, but they were certainly NOT communicative or apologetic. I don't believe we got one apology for suffering for six weeks.
The men who came out to fix the unit were extremely nice and competent.... BUT I think they are just overloaded, so CW -as a company- can't handle all the work that is coming to them. It was a nightmare experience.
Knowledgable and Professional – Not long ago we had our system go out. Its an old system, but the failure was unexpected. We received a 1 year home warranty (which I would never recommened anyone having) and the warranty company sent Comfort Wizards out. I am mechanically inclined, but by no means an HVAC guru. The service tech that came out was prompt, professional, and able to explain what was wrong with the system and what needed to be done in a way that I did not feel talked down to. The only issue was the home warranty company who did not want to go with the recommendation of Comfort Wizards. Found someone else how told them pretty much the same thing and Comfort Wizards ended up coming back to make the repairs. I am very happy with the actual service and customer service as well. I will absolutely call them first for a quote on a new system when I can. In the mean time they will be my first call for service.
Great company – We needed a new system and we got 5 quotes. Comfort Wizards was the only company that came in and did a full load calculation on our house. Our house was never very balanced and with the load calculation they were able to balance the house. Our house is very comfortable now. I will recommend these guys to anybody.
WORST - Don't Use – We were scheduled with them through our home warranty company. They told us we needed to have our air turned off (this was in 100 degree heat). I am understanding of this, but not when they canceled on us two days in a row. After the first cancellation we were told that they could not give us a first thing in the morning appointment. So I went to work early knowing that I would have to leave work early. They called me shortly after I arrived at work telling me that the technician was on the way and would be there in 45 minutes (first thing in the morning). Two and 1/2 hours later I'm still waiting. I call and they tell me that the technician has just resigned that morning. Somewhere after the time he called me he resigned? And they don't have anyone else to send out today. I don't buy it. Something is up with this company. I asked why they didn't bother to call me and they stated that they turned the notice into the warranty company and it was up to them to inform me. Meanwhile - I miss work waiting on them to show up! This is customer service at its worst!
