My husband and I are extremely pleased at our buying experience at Hendrick Toyota in Concord. Red carpet service is how we would describe the treatment that we received. Our sales person Brian Barry and the finance manager Michelle Poe are consummate professionals and bent over backward to ensure we were please in all aspects of the purchase of our 2012 Sequoia Limited.
I am an avid internet shopper and the details provided relative to the vehicle we purchased were excellent. We made our decision based on what we viewed on the site.
Hendrick Motors has gained two new loyal customers.
This was my first ever purchase of a new vehicle the salesman Jeffery Reeves was excellent. And the finance department friendly and helpful. Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance team made the whole experience pleasant. Looking forward to doing business again in the near future.
I recently purchased a new Tundra vehicle. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with - from the sales team to the finance department to the vehicle prep team - all were professional and very customer oriented. I want to give a special shout-out to Wesley Smith who managed the entire process for us. I have been a Hendrick customer for several years, purchasing vehicles from their Mini Cooper, Toyota, Honda and Lexus dealerships. Hendrick teams are A-1.
Treat the service department as you would a Dr. that says you need an operation. Go get a second opinion! I have had three instances that I am aware of that they said that I needed work done and it turned out to be false. The first time I was told that our Sequoia needed new tire rod boots / ends, another time they squirted greese on a tire rod boot / end on our Tundra and when showing me the greese the mechanic poked a hole into the boot with a small screw driver, this last episod was just this week, they failed the Sequoia on the anual inspection saying that the boot on the rack and pinion was leaking and quoated us almost $1000.00 to fix...We had three other mechanics look at the problem and they all suggested that the suface grease be cleaned of and checked to see if it was truley leaking. It was not allowing any grease / fluid to leak out and we took it to another inspection site, telling them what had caused the vehicle to fail in the first place and they also could not find a problem with this part. I would have to say that I am extremely disapointed with them and that they will not be getting anymore business from us.
FOLKS YOU CAN TRUST – I've been buying and having all my vechicles serviced with TOC since the early '90s. At least six vechicles. I don't have to worry about shopping around. Neither do you.. Just go there.
Great place to go – I was in the dealership on Saturday and had my car serviced as I always do at Toyota of Concord. They are so nice and friendly to me. As I was waiting a sales person came up to me and we starting talking about different things and I told him about my grandchildren and just mentioned getting something newer. He took the time go over preowned cars and found one for me. I decided to get a newer car because I'm older and don't want to worry about problems in the future. I must say I was not pressured at all and they called me back today to come take a look at what he had found and here I am with a new car. I will continue to have my car serviced at Toyota and would recommend them to anyone. One time I was in for service and they actually took me over to the mall while my car was being worked on. I love the shuttle service. All the folks I have talked with their are great and treated me with respect, sometimes people tend to forget about us older people but not here. I hope all my grandchildren will come to see you soon. Thank you Toyota of Concord
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – WORST experience EVER! 0 stars (not sure if there was an option for that) I initially talked with Titus Haygood over the phone. Was interested in a Jeep that I had found on their website but when I called he said it was at another dealership nearby. So he said he could get it to the Concord location for a fee.. Making me feel pressured that he was doing me this huge favor by spending the "location fee" he then asked how serious I was. Since it seemed like a big deal to get the Jeep to Concord I asked where it was and of course he did not disclose that info and assured me that the Jeep would be at the Concord location on Friday at 5:00. Then made a big deal about making sure i'd be there at 5:00 and said to call or text him if anything came up. So I showed up Friday at 5:00. No Titus & no Jeep. Actually walked around the lot a little before I came in and nobody came out... Long story short..no help from anybody there. Found Jeep on my own and going to see it tomorrow.
Edit to Add: They have since immensely apologized which I really appreciate.
Terrible Negotiations - Stay away – Toyota of Concord is a terrible place to go. They offered me way below True Market Value for my trade in and their numbers were CRAZY. I was looking at the RAV4 and really and trully I am grateful that they are so horrible at TOC because I ended up at Honda of Lake Norman and things went much smoother there.
