Dr.Chad Millet is horrible – Dr. Chad Millet at Southern Orthopaedic Specialist in New Orleans is the worst doctor I've ever been to! My ortho doctor in B.R. recommended that I see a specialist after the orthroscoptic surgery he preformed on my hip was not successful. I was still in a lot of pain to where I could barely walk. My Doc was caring enough to want me to get a second opinion. He recommended Dr. Millet and Dr. Byrd in Nasville. I opted to see Dr. Millet since he was closer. My doc told me to bring all records and pics of my hip to Dr. Millet. I brought every MRI, Hip Scan and xray and dvd of my last surgery. I had to wait over a month to get in to see this doctor...I was in so much pain that I was marking my calendar in hope of some answers. When the day finally arrived, they imedialtly wanted to take an xray even though I had my recent xray. When Dr. Millet came in he only looked at the xray they took, I asked him to please look at my MRI's and body scan images and he acted like he didn't have time and pretty much had the attitude that I was a waste of him time. Very poor bedside manner. He just looked at the xray and said he didn't really see anything wrong...just a little arthritis. Let me also mention, I was only 45 at the time. My heart just sank...I had waited all that time and he wouldn't even try to help me or give me any answers. I went back and told my doctor in B.R. and he was apoligetic. This time I did some research on the internet and made a decision to go see Dr. Thomas Byrd in Nashville. Although again, I had to wait over a month to get in but it was well worth it. He took time to look over all my information and was upfront with me that my hip was deterioating and he could go in and do a more Intensive "clean up" of the arthritis with artho surgery or I could wait it out and have a hip replacement. I opted to do the second artho surgery to buy me a little more time. Dr. Byrd said I was a "hiccup" away from having a hip replacement. I am now 47 and still in pain but that second "clean up" helped a lot. My doc here in B.R. at Bone and Joint Clinic is great and can do my hip replacement when I can no longer take the pain anymore. Shame on this Dr. Millet for being so non caring towards these patients that wait months to come in to see him in hope of getting some answers and he acts like he doesn't care. Also, the medical building he is in is very shabby. your time and money and don't see this uncaring doctor.

REVIEW ON DR. CHAD MILLETT – I had knee replacement on January 28 th 2009 by dr. chad millet. This has got to be the worst money hungry non caring doctor at east jefferson hospital and any other hospital that HE does practice in . All he wants is his money because after your surgery heNEVER returns your calls. He has a nurse that is very rude , he does not answer other doctors calls concerning the patenint he did the surgery on and he never returns calls or fax messages from the therpist that is working with his patient.I had to start going to my family doctor so he could finish my treatments and continue my check ups.he is a doctor that I would not let my dog go to if I had a dog. After your surgery he comes check on you the next day than you are in the hospital( in by case 6 days) and I only saw him the day of my surgery the day after my surgery and the day I was discharged.i went for a 6 week check up and had to wait in a little box room for 1 hour and 55 mins. til he came in the room . He stayed 3 mins ( my husband timed him > he did not even touch my knee he did a quick glance than said come back in 2 months ! He started to walk out the room ( after me waiting to see him for almost 2 hours)I had questions to ask and he polite told me ask him on the way to the desk ! MAD ! MY HUSBAND AND I WAS DAM MAD! MY FAMILY DOCTOR TOOK OVER MY CASE.
