Not worth your time! – Probably the worst service I have had at any restaraunt. My water glass was filled when I was seated and that was it even after repeated attemps of asking waitstaff for a refill. They seemed to be short handed so I was waited on by the owner personally. I thought we were sure to have exceptional service from the owner himself, not the case, he brought our drinks almost 30 min. after we ordered them and it's not as if we ordered some elaborate mixed cocktails they only needed to pour two glasses of wine, unbelievable!

At this point the morale of the table (two friends and I) was pretty low, there was even talk of leaving after the wine but I urged them to see it through and order some food... I don't mind a bit of a wait for good food but 50 min. was just too long. The food was cold, presentation was sub-par for the menu price, and when my friend cut into the chicken dish he ordered it was almost completely raw! On top of it all, there was a very strong "old fish" smell coming from the open kitchen area where the cook prepared our meals. Two words to describe this visit to Cafe Savannah, Never Again!

Don't bother – I have gone here for the last time! We've been several times and it keeps getting worse each time. The service has gotten progressively worse, the owner just doesn't have enough staff to serve the patrons in a timely manner. He is also down to one cook now and with no daily special everything must be made to order. As a result it takes an extremely long time to get your food. To top it off the food went from being good (the first two times we went) to horrid (the last three times). We ordered paella and got something more akin to bouillabaisse with some rice and the chorizzo tasted as if it had been cooked in a taco sauce mix you'd buy at Carrs. Our garlic bread was cold and the waitress wanted to argue with us about it. Every table around us was also very obviously displeased with their service and their meals (cold, wrong order, you name it).

The last three times we went all happened to be when we had a PAC event to go and we let them know when we sat down. Each time we still ended up having to go to the bar to get our bill after asking for it for 20 minutes.

We will NEVER patronize this restaurant again and I STRONGLY recommend anyone else not to waste their hard earned money. I honestly feel I should have walked out and stiffed them the last time we were there and I truly believe that they wouldn't have even noticed. The meal we paid for certainly wasn't worth ANYTHING. I even noticed the owner going into the back and slamming a prep table with a knife. I think he feels the place falling apart at the seams but the second waitress we had (the first never came back after the cold garlic bread) indicated he's too cheap to do things properly. This place would be perfect for the BBC version of Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.

disappointing – Offensively overbearing service. I was poured a glass of wine that I didn't order (which I restated when it was brought to the table), and figured that it was being given to me as a generous sample, but was charged for it. The food was marginal (the salad was the very ends of romaine in a sea of dressing) and not at all exciting. The atmosphere is pretty nice, and sometimes it gets a great crowd. But I felt bossed around and insulted by the wait staff. I don't need someone to talk down to me and cut me off when I'm spending my money at their restaurant. It was really a disappointment, as I've been looking forward to trying it out for a long time.
