Quality/Quantity has diminished over the years. I had been a steady customer of this unique restaurant until today, my last visit. Over the past few years, the prices have increased and the portion size has shrunk. The amount of rice pilaf with a dinner meal is about half of what it once was. And worst of all, they have dropped to serving canned stuffed grape leaves. These are easy to distinguish from freshly made as they are slimy and a bluish green in color. In the past I had recommended this place to family and friends, but now I'll recommend they go somewhere else.

I was obviously very disappointed in their drop in food quality.

WoW! Don't let the location fool you! AMAZING!. Incredibly fresh salads...perfectly marinated shish kaboob and shish tawook...awesome hummus and falafel! The location is in a gas station, but don't be fooled, this place is clean and expansive. A gem in Berkley that is well worth taking a drive to. Perhaps some of the best middle eastern in the area. Wait...it IS the best middle eastern in the area!

One small con...portions change frequently. I order Chicken Cream Chop usually and I love it! Sometimes there is alot of that fabulous chicken. Sometimes, it looks like a half order. It can be a real cr#p shoot with the portions, considering it isn't cheap eats.

I hope they never leave the area or move to a more restaurant setting. I noticed with another restaurant in the area that when they expanded, the quality went down the toliet. It always seems to happen so I hope Mr. Kabob sticks around for the long haul.

amazing food!. Mr. Kabob is my favorite place to eat! The chicken schwarma lunch or dinner is one of my regular meals and it's so big that I have enough for lunch the next day! The definitely don't skimp on giving a lot of food. All of the employees are also really nice and when I call in my order they always have it ready for me when I pick it up. You have to try it!
