A really nice dining experience! Great food, atmosphere and staff. This restaurant is as good as it gets serving Thai food. My seafood dinner came with a generous portion of shrimp and crab, and lots of delicious red curry. Their food is reasonably priced and they offer a generous senior discount. I think you will really enjoy it.
Lovely & resonable in the middle of Birmingham. The place has great food, but it looks like it is falling a bit. Service often slow, however food still stans out for reasonable price. Duck, seet/sour chicken, noodles - all good. Don't forget your free green tea. :)
delicious food great service. This place is so pretty and the food here is so delicious!!! 3 years going on 4 now and I will keep on going. It's our only thai food and I will drive on any weather to go there. Please never close. The waitstaff is nice and place is so clean. Try it, you will love it!!!!!
This place will try to make you pay for the horrible dish even if you don't like it!. This place is not true Thai food. It's just Chinese food that called itself Thai. I had a squid salad and it was sour and horrible. The waitress said that the manager insisted that I paid for the dish even though I only sampled a little bit and thought the salad was disgusting The waitress said that the manager indicated that the salad was made correctly and it's not the restaurant's fault if I did not like it. Unbelievable! I've never of such cases in any restaurant. I wanted to speak to the manager herself but she did not show up because she did not want to cause disturbance in her restaurant. Eventually, she deducted the cost of the squid salad. My friend had the duck and it was dried. We will never come back here.
A little bit different yet delectable Thai.
Surely this place does not serve authentic Thai, said my Thai friend. Yet she said she enjoyed the meal. The pad thai here, which I love, is a little more slippery than the other pad thai's that tend to be slightly dry. Yes, somewhat oily but that makes the noodle taste good. My recommendation here is fried rice, Chef Special if you like garlicky taste. Pad Cashew with chicken is also a nice choice, and so are the curry dishes, both red and green. Satay here is pretty good for an appetizer. If you like duck, New Bangkok duck is something to try.
At least some of the servers are from Laos. Though this place may not serve authentic Thai, it is Thai-and other Southasian food mixed and it tastes good. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Michigan. Also, in case of noodles or fried rice, you are almost guaranteed to have left overs.
