The Hyatt was weak!!!. I had to attend a conference at the Hyatt and found it to very expensive for what it offered. The room was okay, but the bathroom was tiny and very dark. The hotel restuarant was extremely over priced even with to 20% discount I was given for be at the conference and the food was so-so. It was nice to be right next to the Superdome and to a shopping mall that had a food court area.

Tower accommodations next to the Louisiana Superdome.. The Scene
Guests here are greeted by an airy, soaring, typical-of-the-Hyatt-chain atrium. The hotel's free transportation to the French Quarter is a welcome extra since only the Louisiana Superdome and the Central Business District are easily accessible from this property. As well, it is connected to the New Orleans Centre Mall.
