Smoke this! – I've been to Gypsy before and never had a reason to complain. But the last time I was there with my friend we were completely ignored. First of all, they brought us a crooked hookah and the coals kept falling on me! When we tried to get our waiter's attention he would look right through us. I understand if it were busy and he couldn't assist us right away but there was hardly anyone there. We waited about 20 minutes before we finally decided to leave. Since we didn't even smoke our hookah we walked out without paying. Our waiter chased us down and told us we had to pay. We told him we never smoked the hookah and that he had ignored us the whole time we were there. He still insisted that we pay. Reluctantly, we did but swore we'd never come back and tell everyone we know not to go there.

Alina, I'm really surprised to be reading your comment, all our hookahs are checked daily to ensure that they are in working order. Additionally I would like to know who your waiter was if you recall so I can take care of the matter. I would like to offer you to come back to gypsy and have a complementary hookah. Please let me know when you would like to pick up your voucher.

Awesome place! – I went on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy. The crowd was mostly college students. The service was alright. What I liked most is the music and the atmosphere. The food is pretty good. Some hookah lounges dont service alcohol but this one serves I think just beer and wine. I have been smoking hookah for a long time and I have been to a bunch of places but this ones the best!!

Impressively Amazing! – At first glance, it may seem that the Gypsy Cafe wouldn't stand a chance to it's adjacent competitor Habibi Cafe due to the echo of loud music coming from Habibi's main lounge. But walk through Gypsy Cafe's doors and you'll see just how much better Gypsy is. The service is amazing, and the hookah list is quite impressive. The music is also set at an enjoyable level of volume, so unlike Habibi, you can actually hear the person talking to you from accross the table without them screaming.

It comes down to this: If you like a good time, great service, amazing hookah, and delicious food, then go to Gypsy Cafe. If not, then go to Habibi. It's that simple.

Way to go Gypsy Cafe!

Hi Breath of Heaven,

Im glad to hear that you had a great time at Gypsy Cafe, we recently revamped our hookah menu and added new varieties that include fresh apple heads (bowls), and mixtures of milk, sex on the beach, wine and other drink in the base. I would like to invite you to try our new combinations on your next Visit to Gypsy Cafe.

Better than habibi – I loved Gypsy. Great service and i loved the hookah. the cover charge is pricey (only on nights). However i recommend going there for brunch to avoid the cover charge that way you can eat something, smoke hookah, and go shopping or watch a flick on the village. The VIP area is really nice i would love to rented out for my bday next year.

Best Hookah in Westwood – Gypsy Cafe has the best hookah in Westwood. Not only do they have good hookah, but the food is great as well. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by an employee and seated immediately. The service here is great and I recommend it for anybody looking for a good hookah experience. Gypsy is wayyyy better than Habibi!!

overpriced food – My friends and I came here for one of my friends' birthdays... I'm not really a huge hookah enthusiast, but I guess it was pretty fun... the strawberry and apple flavors were pretty tasty. We went on a weekend, so it was extremely packed, but it surprisingly didn't take too long to get seated. If I recall correctly, I think each person was required to buy at least $15 worth of food/drinks, which kind of turned me off. Of course we weren't aware of this rule when we first sat down so our bill ended up coming out to a lot more than we expected.

Love this Place! Young fun crowd – Weekends are off the chain here. They have a great DJ and the music sets the stage for an awesome club-like feel. The food is amazing, especially for a late dining place. Bets the hell out of going to dennys! Its definatley worth checking out! The crowd is hot and they food is awesome, what more could you want? PS- i dont even smoke hookah, but i love this place.

Crowded, smoky, strange crowd – I'm not a fan of hookah in general, but when my friends ranted and raved about this place, I decided to tag along one night. It's very smoky and very crowded, especially on weekends. The crowd also seemed really strange to me, being very obnoxious and loud. I guess if you like hookah enough, it's the place to be, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't.
