Authentic Chicago Hotdogs – Jimmy's has THE BEST hot dogs. They're authentic Chicago-style, all-beef hot dogs. My favorites are the standard Chicago style and the Mayor Daley dog (cream cheese, spicy mustard, shredded cheddar cheese and taco sauce). It's a hole-in-the-wall diner type place oozing with Chicago pride and character. I tell all my friends about it because it's just a word-of-mouth kind of place. Everyone I've ever told about it loves it. It will take you several visits to read everything on the walls, and you'll want to do so because it's all so interesting and funny. Most of the time, Jimmy himself will be making your dogs. You will know him when you see him. Don't ask him for ketchup. (Or do for a kick, but don't get mad.) It's a great place to bring kids. This would make a fabulous road stop for anyone traveling either direction on I-40. It's less than 5 minutes from both the Appling and Whitten exits just east of Memphis. Google it.

Good Food - Terrible Customer Service!!! – I ordered a 9" Jimmys deep dish pizza for dinner, even though they are overpriced at almost 20.00 for a small, but I knew they were good because we have ordered them a couple of times at my office. The 9" cheese pizza is only $11.50 but the one I ordered has 4 or 5 toppings so it was almost $20.00 with tax. When I got there I stood under the sign that says "Pick up to go orders". There were two people there at the counter, one running a register on the left and one sitting in front of me eating something from a cup that looked like icecream. She continued to sit there and ignore me for quite a while then she walked off. Eventually the manager walked by and gave me my pizza, then I had to go stand in the other line and wait some more to check out. When I got home, I thought it looked like there was not any toppings on it but we cut it and looked inside at it and tasted it and determined that it was a plain cheese pizza. We were hungry so we went ahead and ate some of it and it was good, but it was not what I had ordered, or what I had paid for, so I called them. I expected them to say "O, I'm sorry we must have mixed them up! I will make you the correct pizza" or something like that. NOOO not at Jimmys, where the customer is ALWAYS WRONG!. The guy on the phone said "Have you eaten ANY of it? I said "Well yes, thats how we know it is plain cheese " He said "Then I cant help you!". I have never been treated so rudly by a resturaunt in my life. The cook even went so far as to say he had not made a plain cheese pizza all night! In other words he was calling me a liar, so I said "You WILL do something about it, and I will be down there with the pizza in 5 minutes to show it to you!" The owner gave me 6 dollars back after inspecting it and a non-heartfelt apology. He said alot of people have been "claiming" to get the wrong pizza lately, to try to get a free one. I said well maybe they REALLY are getting the wrong pizzas!! Duhh We won't be back
