Poor Customer Service From Sammy and Holly – I purchased furniture on June 23rd. The saleswoman was helpful and not pushy at all, let us walk around without following us or bugging us every 5 minutes. However the delivery was another story. I was told that delivery would take about 2 weeks but more than likely would be really about 1 week. I was given phone # to call in 48 hours to check on status. I called the # and spoke with Holly, she stated the furniture was in and would be delivered on June 30th. I was moving into my new place July 3rd and asked if they could deliver then to which she replied " no problem" they will call you the day before and give you a 4 hour window. July 2nd 7pm no phone call I called Holly to check on status.. her reply well I don't know who you talked to( it was her that told me this info ! ) but your furniture will not be in until July 21st and there is nothing you can do about it, and laughed about it. I called back and Sammy said that they would have it to me Monday July 6th. No furniture until Thursday July 9th. I called everyday to check on status was told they did not know what was going on they would have to call back ( never did) was hung up on.. DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY initial experience was good after they get your money the " customer service" is horrible.
Poor Customer Service – Me and my son's father went there in search of kids bedroom furniture. Upon entering the store there was a sales person sitting at a desk who did not greet nor offer to help. Sales rep #2 walked right passed us still no question of greeting or wanting help. Store rep #3 looked at me dead in my face and started looking around as if she didn't want to get noticed. Finally I asked was she a sales rep of course she replied yes I said good because no one has offered to help not one time. the sales rep goes on to say that they usually don't say anything like to let the customer look around and ask question. I was baffled so what about the greeting and amazingly I saw other sales reps helping customers and greeting. Well I spent another hour in the store and had the girl finally look up items matches etc. And kindly walked out the store no one will get my money if I am treated that way. I guess it goes to show if you look a certain way they don't help you at all. I will definetly say that I have heard rumors of people being funny up in carmel with other races. Well I am speaking from a minority point a view at this store only I felt it very much so.
