Loved the friendly staff, went for a spa party with my girlfriends for a bachelorette bash and everyone had such a great time. They allowed us to use the waiting room to set up our food and wine so that we could socialize in between services. I HIGHLY recommend Seasons! Will be back for many more ladies spa days and even just to go by myself to relax!!
Seasons is a teaching salon and encourages it's stylists to assist one another to provide the best service possible, no haircut is considered simple but a canvas for a personal expression of art.........
It's alarming when you get a master stylist and she has to stop in the middle of a SIMPLE haircut on you to ask another ("Advanced" master stylist) how to cut your hair on a SIMPLE CUT. enough said.
MAJOR RIP OFF! – I have been going to Seasons for a few years now and had a variety of experiences, most of which have been negative...you would think they'd treat a faithful customer a little better! They are entirely too pricey for simple services--they will tell you once price and charge another! I was once charged $90 for an updo and the girl wasn't even a "master designer." EXTREMELY RUDE staff. Not sure what these people have stuck up their rear! Will not return.
Horrible experience with salon and threading! – Do not get threading here! I repeat, do not get your eye brows threaded at Seasons Salon and Spa. I had a horrible salon experience. Waited 40 minutes for Sherri (or whatever her name is) to come and get me to get threaded. Receptionists forgot I was waiting so I had to come up to them to see what is happening. Finally, I went in to get threaded and the lady who was doing it (they only have one lady who does threading) did not know how to properly thread. My whole face got threaded pretty much instead of just my eye brows. At one point she got my eye lash and my for forehead was very red. She is very slow so the experience was super painful and I have been threading my eye brows for a long time so I know what it should feel like. She was unable to get even 60% of the hairs so she plucked the rest. Horrible! And then the management is not much better. They do not reply to customer concerns, which is unacceptable. I will never return to this Salon for ANY SERVICE.
not impressed – I took a couple friends there - none of us having ever been there - for some open house night that I got notice of by email. It didn't say it was a fundraiser and required a minimum donation....that was a surprise getting there, but we were ok with donating to charity to try some services. The service was really bad....we were supposed to all have hair done at the same time and they overlooked one of us and kept us waiting and waiting. Then after our hair absolutely did not look better than when we came in. An overall disappointing experience and I planned not to go back.
...until one day I was in a pinch and scheduled there because it was close and they had availablity. I got Tom...LOVE Tom. Tom earned my business for him, but he was the only reason I went there period. I recently called and he is now gone and they wanted to schedule me with someone else...no thanks. Tom was an asset that will be missed!
Seasons Is A Great Salon – From someone who recently worked at Seasons but unfortunately had to move, I can tell who each person it is that wrote some of these negative reviews and they are terminated employees. It is not fair to lash out on the internet claiming false accusations just because you are upset about getting fired. You were fired for a reason and you should have the decent bone in your body you speak of to not want to try and prevent those who do work hard the ability to get a chance to gain new clients. Seasons is a beautiful facility and has very talented people. I will pray for those who harbor so much anger.
Can't believe this kind if stuff even exsist, – First off this establishment doesn't even derserve one star. This salon is the most unprofessional place I have ever seen or been in, and for those of you that liked it and had something nice to say about it you must have caught everyone there on a good day and the 2 National Awards..psh please...the power hungry owner..Pamela Nystrom must have had to sleep with someone to get those. She is the most money hungry, lying, cheating, stealing, conniving person I have ever seen. She has ran her own buisness so far in the ground she can barely pay her bills to keep it in buisness. She hires too many employees and can't afford to pay them, then she wants to let them go for no reason at all, I don't know why i guess she just didn't like them. Why do you think she has so many specials running all the time? Because shes desperate for the money. She makes the employees work events and not even pay them for their work and time they put in. And trades free services for plastic surgery. Ive just never seen someone so selfish that she has to walk all over everyone to get what she wants. I don't know who she thinks she is or why she thinks she better than anyone because hello your the one that doesn't even have a decent bone in her body. This salon is terrible and mostly because of the owner. but don't get me wrong about the staff, most of them don't even know what the hell their doing, but i will say there are a select few that are good and really deserve to work somewhere else that is better and where their hardwork would be appreciated.
Dangerous Massage Service: Avoid Seasons Salon – I recently booked a massage at Seasons with Christy. Felt perfectly safe with the salon since I have received pedicures there for years - even reffered family & friends.
I have been getting deep tissue massage regularly for the past 15 years, so I have a pretty good understanding of "good pain" and "bad pain." Christy worked on my neck for 20 minutes or so, and it was so painful (in a bad way) that I asked her to stop. It was clear she was not well trained in this area. I didn't know that I had actually been injured until an hour or so after the massage when my neck began to swell. For the next three days, I had to take ibuprofin, muscle relaxers, and apply regular ice to my neck to deal with the pain & lack of motion.
Reported the event to the salon owner & suggested the therapist needed additional training before continuing to perform massages. My comment was met with little to no response & a requested refund was not honored. I am filing a complaint with Kentucky's Massage Therapy Licensing Board. In the mean time, it turns out a friend of mine had an equally poor experience with this same therapist - she was texting on her cell phone with one hand during the service. My friends, family, and I will not be returning.
overpriced, overrated – DO NOT GO HERE FOR BLONDE HAIR COLOR. I had to have color correction after i got a terrible haircut and color here. they also book you for highlights and then force you into full hair color. WATCH OUT! I will NEVER return
