we couldn't have a worse experience! – So we went bridesmaid dress shopping back in March, found a great dress at a reasonable price with free alterations, the dressed arrived in April and "just come in a month before the wedding for alterations" we were told, that's when the good experience started and the nightmare started. We had purchased the dresses downtwon, but when we went to make alteration appointments, we discovered the downtown location had closed, (with no call to us) and to come in to the Clackamas store. WE had three dresses, two arrived the proper size, the third had a correct size tag attched to outside of the dress, but was 2 sizes smaller than the outside tag indicated (per the inside tag) So the wrong-sized dress was re-ordered as a rush and two dresses went into alterations. When the 1 re-orderd dress came in, it was discovered only ONE dress came back from alterations a week past teh promised return time (The seamstress or store also LOST the dress) amongst all of this, our names were not correct in the computer and each phone call to the store was a pain-inducing experience talking to a variety sales gal who had no clue what was going on, nor how to rectify the situation nor appeared to care. Only one named Yen was helpful. The missing dress was re-ordered, and came in the WRONG size. The wedding is in 6 days from now, and we still only have 2 bridesmaids dresses for 3 bridesmaids and a "promise the third" will be here in 2 days and we are incurring the additional cost of a private alteration since this place has screwed up SO badly!!!
Nice Dresses...but.... – The dresses are nice and very good priced, but the manager with blond hair and a lip piercing is very rude and is not professional at all! She talks about getting drunk and "hooking up" with people at the bars she goes to. When I'm trying on a dress, I don't want to hear about her getting drunk! There were two other girls that were very sweet and professional. I don't remember there names, but one had light brown hair and blue eyes, and the other girl had the same hair color and she was heavier set. Both very nice girls! I didn't end up buying a dress from them because the manager was rude and didn't understand my needs. She was rude to me and everyone around her. She should be fired, but thats just my opinion. You would get a lot more business if she was gone!
THE MOST HORRIBLE BRIDAL SHOP – I checked out the Clackamas Town Center Location to pick out my wedding dress. I found the dress of my dreams for a great price and free alterations! Little did I know that "free alterations" were extremly crappy. They did not take my measurements the first time, the second time, it came in completely wrong because the person who took my measurements didn't take them right, the third time after they said my measurements were taken, it was still too big. The 4th time we got it remeasured and it still didnt fit. There were beads missing from my design as they had started to unravel! I was completely horrified and no one seemed to know what was going on. Lack of poor communication and horrible service. The manager kept cutting me off and not letting me talk and kept saying that I could come back again to get it fixed. I think not! No alterations place takes 5 or more times to fix! That is unheard of. I am so unhappy that they are ruining my wedding dress! Especially that the beads on the front of the dress are coming apart and the bustle wasn't even done like they were supposed to. The ONLY ok thing about this store is that the prices are low. Everything else has been a complete nightmare! I am finally taking my dress out of there to a PROFESSIONAL alterer who knows what they are doing. The other thing is that they messed up on my bridesmaid's dresses two times and took the measurements wrong. They obviously need to train people! Please whatever you do DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!
Good prices......but small selection – The place is located inside the Pioneer Place shopping mall. The girls that worked there were nice. The selection though was pretty poor. There just wasn't a whole lot to choose from, but what they had wasn't too bad. The best thing about the place is that the prices were REALLY good. They could order dresses for less! They had some dresses in there that I saw at other places for much more. They also had dresses on display at the Rose City Bridal Show in October of 2006. Overall the place is a definite to check out!
