Sinful sushi in a sizzling space, Social House is a celebrity fave for late-night dining and dancing. – In Short
Social House is the total package. Sitting atop Tangerine Lounge, the eclectic pan-Asian restaurant has a modern design heavily influenced by Japanese culture. Brass file boxes, considered good luck, line a stairway and lighting fixtures placed inside bird cages hang above the lounge. The maze of rooms offers several sitting options, a 10-seat sushi bar and outdoor terrace among them. Popular items include the Citrus Peel Miso Marinated Cod and fruit-infused sake.

Bad host staff and kids. – Let me start off by acknowledging the food here is excellent. We had the lobster salad and several rolls (probably 7) along with sashimi and it was all fantastic. However, the hostess's attitude was ridiculous and laughable. We ordered a drink to wait for our reservation and observed her attitude to everyone that approached was rude and unhelpful. When we got upstairs the experience changed drastically. Both our waiter and drink staff were knowledgeable and service was excellent. My only complaint was that toward the end of our meal they seated a family with two small children (under 6) next to us in a tight area (their table was inches from ours). The kids were loud, banged around the area and were a nuisance. Not sure why people insist on bringing their kids to inappropriate places but I was very disappointed they were seated next to us in such an intimate setting. That really took away from the experience.

Excellent view, horrible service – Asked where order was three times, over a 45 minute wait and still nothing. Spending over $300 dollars for four and telling waiter it was a birthday dinner you would expect more. The view from the patio and great food did nothing to make up for the horrible service. The dinner came to an end by credit card being overcharged by $150 dollars, them making me wait 20 minutes to have it fixed. Most important is don't leave the restraunt during dinner because you will be stopped when returning to you table and questioned if you were really in there.

Great food....not great customer service – I went to eat here with a small group of friends. The food was to die for. Very good and very elegant presentation. The customer service, however, was another story. From the beginning, the host who couldn't find out reservation was very rude, to our waiter who forgot some of our sushi, and who we had to ask 3 times for the wine list. A lot of the other servers there seemed very snooty, treating us like we were privileged to be eating there. I definitely recommend the food there, but would probably not go back because the service was so terrible.

FANTASTIC – We stayed at Treasure Island and had a craving for sushi. Definetly one of the best sushi restaurants ever! Music and food were awesome. All hostesses dressed in black dresses with heels to take guests to their tables added a very sophisticated element! Went two nights in a row and we were amazed every time! Will be going back soon!

New show "Sirens of TI" – The new show (Sirens of TI) is absolutely thrilling. It is filled with adventure, music, excitement, and great special effects. When visiting Las Vegas, do not miss this one. (Although I must admit, I feel sorry for the pirates who all end up in the water during this very cool time of the year.)

Its resemblance to the Pirates of the Caribbean sparked the phrase "Disneyfication of Las Vegas." – The Performance
The front façade is a Caribbean village, complete with skulls, caves and torches. The former sidewalk has been transformed into a wood boardwalk and doubles as a nifty viewing platform. When the HMS Britannia "sails in", targeting the pirates' Hispaniola, a bloody battle ensues. After loads of explosions, sword fights, and well-acted lines from the actors, the Brittania is sunk yet again. The pirates then invite everyone inside, of course, to sample their booty.

The Skinny
Thanks to its flashy pyrotechnics and campy good fun, the show is popular. Beware of the crowds during high season; it may take longer to walk away from the scene than the show lasted. If you don't snag a good viewing spot early, wait for another show.

Not again – We waited for about 45 minutes and everyone in Las Vegas must have shown up. We were there in October and it was during the week! Then you couldn't even figure out what was going on because there is so many things at once and everyone on the "tippy-toes" trying to see it. Once was enough.

Get there early – I was satisfied considering that this is a free show. The downside to it was the crowd, and there are two sides in which you can view the show. When facing the hotel, the left side seemed where more of the action was, but then this is the side where I was standing. Make sure You get there early and get a good spot.
