Best doggie day care ever!!! We have been taking our 3 dogs there for the last 4 years. They absolutely love it! They keep my small dog behind the counter with the other small dogs and my two larger dogs romp with the other dogs. My dogs practically burst with excitement when they get there. Also they do a wonderful job bathing them - they trim their nails and brush them really well. The owner and the employees are great to work with - they have helped me get my dogs in and out of my car (I have limited mobility). Just an awesome place!!!
Love this place!! – I take my dogs here for day care and they love it! It's a very clean and fun atmosphere, I couldn't imagine taking them any place else! Love Camp Barkalot!!
Too good to be true! – Moving here from New York, my first stop on the day of the move-in was Camp Barkalot, where I dropped my pup off for a day of play while the movers lugged around heavy items.
Barkalot is more like a dog park than a doggie daycare. A well-supervised dogpark with indoor and outdoor components -- but a dogpark in the sense that the dogs mix and mingle and are largely free to get along and have fun. In the summers, the outdoor area has umbrellas for shade and kiddie pools for the pups who like water.
My dog greets the staff like he greets family -- literally. He does this funny ears-back butt-wagging thing when he greets family, but I have never seen him do it with anyone else before I saw him greet Barkalot staffers this way once we had been going there for a few months.
We use barkalot not just for daycare but also for kenneling when we go out of town. Always a great experience.
On top of it, the owners and staff are really friendly and clearly are dog lovers (they so kindly laugh off my dog's tendency to flip out when he sees a cat in the cat room, or when he decides he wants to mark his territory in the main area).
I am moving from Salt Lake in a few months and wish I could take Barkalot with me. A+++
(my dog is a big dog, but just a quick word to anyone with a small dog: they do a great job of keeping smaller dogs in their own area, unless you specifically request otherwise).
My dog loves it here! – We recently moved here from out of state and I found Camp Barkalot online. I tried it out and have gone back many times since our first visit. I have a pitbull/black lab mix and many doggy daycare places discriminate against pit mixes but not this place. My dog always loves going to play here and I feel completely at ease dropping her off to play for the day. The owners are extremely well organized, friendly and professional and we have been nothing but impressed with how their operation runs. Not to mention, my dog always comes home happy and tired! I highly recommend this place.
Best Dog Day Care In Town AAAA+++++ – I found Camp Bark A Lot searching on the internet and have had a really good experience. I take two of my dog's here on a regular basis I have a British Bulldog and a Chiuaua that come here on a regular basis the facilities are big and clean. They have really fare prices. I bring my dogs here because I cannot trust my 5 year old with my dogs. These guys have trained pros watching these dogs all day and they have great facilities. Just talk to Dave or Chris when you go here Chris and Dave are great. AAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++
Great daycare – Finally, I found a daycare where my dog is happy! This facility is always clean, and there are windows where you can see the play area from the lobby. There is always at least two people in the back watching the dogs, so you don't have to worry about them being left unattended. The owners are there all the time and are very nice and friendly. My dog loves this place and always comes home sleepy and in a good mood. Thanks guys.
I love camp barkalot – My dog loves this place and I do too. best place to take your dog in the state.
My dog loves Camp Barkalot! – The owners (I believe it's family owned) get to know the dogs and really seem to care about them. I'm a little concerned that my dog likes them better than me! I've taken 2 dogs to Camp Barkalot, and I have always felt that they are safe and happy. I love they have a big window where you can watch your dog play. They also separate the "big" dogs from the "little" dogs (or in my case, a medium-sized dog who thinks she's little), so your dog is safe and comfortable. The grooming is also great. They allow you to take your dogs in early in the day to play, and then, just before them pick them up, they will bathe them so that when you pick them up, they're slime-free (always a plus). I haven't boarded a dog yet, but am confident that when I do, my dog will have a better vacation than I do. I love this place!
FANTASTIC! BEYOND BEST DOG AND CAT KENNELL/BOARDING IN THE STATE! – We had both 4 cats and 2 dogs stay here for about 2 weeks! We just returned from living in Europe and
they picked up our pets, helped with customs and did an absolute wonderful job! Highly recommended by someone that takes their pets seriously! Good prices and worth every Penny! The best part is that
your animals gets to walk around instead of being caged up.
I love Camp Barkalot! – Camp Barkalot is great. The owners and staff are so nice. They took the time to remember my name as well as my dog and are always quick to greet us whenever we walk in. I've never used them for overnight boarding but the day care is wonderful. They are conveniently located so I can drop my dog off on the way to work and know that she's playing in a safe, clean environment. I love picking up a happy, tired dog!
