cute store, odd atmosphere. Really cute store and they seemed to have a lot of bras but they didn't have many without the wires. Would of enjoyed browsing the pjs and sexy stuff mpre if the owner would of let me browse on my own. Check it out if you are ever in the cary area.

I am a difficult size and shopping for every day bras is tough! My bra dilemma became even more difficult when my sister chose strapless bridesmaid dresses and I am the matron of honor. I found J. Alane's after becoming completely stressed out shopping at another specialty lingerie store followed up by the dreaded self-service department store experience. My options prior to visiting J. Alane's - an all lace, itchy, scratchy bustier that fit correctly, duct tape or trying to go bra-less. (I was really dreading wearing my beautiful bridesmaid dress.) In less than 20 minutes at J. Alane's I was in a comfortable strapless that supported, stayed up and fit correctly. Another 20 minutes and I had additional every day bra options that are pretty and fit too! Thank you Justin Anne! It was my 1st trip to this store and I left happy and de-stressed. J. Alane's is a cute, hip store that has a great selection and is completely committed to customer service. Plan a trip and you will see how fun trying on bras can be.

Tip: Try to arrive at least an hour before they close - it's the polite way to shop!

Great place to get fit, knowledgable staff, very friendly!. I went here recently with my sister to get professionally fit for bras, as neither of us have ever been properly fitted before. We drove to Raleigh from Rocky Mount after hearing great feedback from a few of our girlfriends. Both my sister and I were warmly welcomed upon entering the store and were asked if we needed some assistance. It was very refreshing to be able to relax in the fitting rooms while the two women working there picked us out bras. Both of us laughed as we were told what size we really were, but I was very impressed that the sizes they picked felt better than any bra I had ever worn before. I will admit too, I was a little weary when I first walked in, mainly because the two girls seemed very young. But I ended up leaving with 3 new bras, and my sister 2. So far, I have been very pleased with my bras and the girls working there told me how to properly care for these bras and they really have held up well! I will never go back to Victoria secret bras or any other! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of better bras.

Love this store! Experienced Fitters! Def. Recommend!. I went here a few weeks ago to get fitted for a bra after being referred by one of my closest friends and the experience was a lot better than I had expected. Bra shopping is never fun and I usually dread it, but decided it was necessary to finally get a proper fitting bra. The lady who fit me was extremely patient, helpful, and most importantly, knew what she was doing and made me feel very comfortable. I ended up purchasing a few new bras, and the lady even explained to me how to wash my bras so they last longer. I have enjoyed my bras thus far, and they are still in near perfect condition, now that I know NOT to dry them :) I would definitely recommend J Alanes to anyone! I will certainly be back!

Owner knows her merchandise!. Owner was very patient and knowledgeable. She pointed out that I was wearing the wrong size because the cups of the bra I had on were cutting into me. She also checked on me with each bra I tried on and I came out w/ 5 bras - the correct size really makes a difference! The prices for brands this store sells is the same as everywhere else I checked (figleaves, barenecessities). Yes, it is pricey but my bras last forever with care. I will be back and will definitely recommend J Alane's!
