So disappointed. I received a gift certificate to The Spa Lounge a couple years ago from out of town relatives. I had misplaced it and just recently found it. I called to make and appointment and asked if they would honor a 2 year old gift certificate. The person answering the phone told me she didn't know and would check with the owner. She did mention that previously they would honor them, but deduct $20.00 per year. I was okay with that. She told me she would check with the owner and get back to me. Sadly, I was just notified that they would not honor it at all. I haven't ever been to this spa and was looking forward to it, but with terrible customer relations like this, I will happily take my business elsewhere.
I just wanted to write a huge positive recommendation for The Spa Lounge! This place is absolutely incredible! I 100% disagree with Carin's "tip"! Amy Ennis is the nicest, most professional, accommodating, and caring person I have met! Everyone I know that has gone, and truly experienced what The Spa Lounge has to offer, has walked away with a great experience...with return visits to follow! Not once have I ever encountered any negativity from any employee/manager/anyone here! If you are looking for the best spa experience and truly get your money's worth, there is no other establishment that can even come close! My tip to you, the customer, is to go to the Spa Lounge for your next Spa visit. You will not be disappointed, and you will definitely find yourself going back as a devoted customer! Greeted by the friendliest staff and management, and walk away feeling relaxed, calm, and stress free! I can go on and on about how great of a place this is! Now go see for yourself! It's AWESOME!!!
I received gift certificates from my husband for my daughter and I for Christmas. When I attempted to use them, I initially contacted the location by phone. The individual that I spoke to was rude, uninformed and condescending when I asked for information about some of the services. I ended the conversation without scheduling an appointment because I thought I may receive better service if I was there in person. Sadly, I was wrong. The next day, I entered the facility and was greeted by the Manager, Amy Ennis. My daughter is 11. This would be her first experience in a spa setting. She was excited but a little nervous and wanted to be with her mom when she got her little facial. We were denied the ability to stay together. While the room would have been a tight fit for us to be together, it could have been done. Amy was extremely uncooperative and her customer service was horrible. In an industry that is supposed to be focused on providing a calm, relaxing, client focused atmosphere, I encountered very condescending, rude individuals in both encounters. I requested a refund. If they could not help us, that's okay, then please allow us to use the money at a facility that was able to keep us together for our mommy/daughter afternoon. She refused and stated that my husband should have asked more questions before he bought the gift certificates. His lack of planning was not her fault and there cannot be a refund. These are the individuals the owners have chosen to represent their business...? Well done. In an economy where businesses are struggling, customer service is what makes the difference. This was, by far, the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. Perhaps I should have asked for the owner, Annette. It appears as though her customer service skills did not trickle down to her employees.
Best Spa Ever! – I was given a Groupon as a gift and so started to go to the spa lounge. I've done several different groupons and gone to many different spa's for massage and other services. Nothing beats the spa lounge. I won't go anywhere else. I've had Annette and Stacy give massages and they are the best. Stacy remembers me from before and already knew my problem areas to work on. Don't go anywhere else, the Spa Lounge will take care of you.

Incredible experience – I went to the Spa Lounge strictly for the massage. But I am a big student of customer service and at the Spa Lounge it was impeccable. I literally could not find one thing to complain about, which is very rare for me. Everyone seemed happy I was there and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. The whole enviroment prepared me for the treatment I needed. The massage by Stacy was absolutely amazing with just the right amount of explanation, conversation and advice. I don't want to receive a massage anywhere else because you can't beat perfection! I travel a long way to go here but it is so worth it. The second experience was even better than the first and I can't wait for the next appointment.
Please come see us again, but we may be hard pressed to give you a better experience based upon your incredible. However, we will do our best to make sure you at least have another consistent treatment. Thank you!
Wonderful! – I received a gift card for "The Classics Package" It is a spa pedicure, one hour swedish massage and a facial! It was wonderful to say the least.
The spa is quiet and relaxing. And the staff is awesome. They are all very nice and make you feel so comfortable.
The massage was my favorite part! I will be coming back for a (90) massage next time!!

I'll Never Go Anywhere Else! – I just got back from another wonderful appointment with Annette. She's been doing my facials and eyebrow waxing/tinting for about 6 months now. She is AMAZING!
The entire Spa Lounge experience is incredible -- from the front desk staff, to the relaxation room, to (of course) Annette.
Annette is extremely professional, but not intimidating or stuffy. She is fun and we've spent a couple of our appointments chatting and laughing the whole time. But she is also just as willing to do a treatment in silence to let you relax. She gives an amazing hand/arm, foot and scalp massage during the treatment which has never felt rushed. Ahhhhhh... I need to go back! :)
Hands down, the best spa and the best esthetician around!

Hidden Gem – This tiny gem of a day spa is hidden away in a little strip mall in Draper. The owner is a wonderful woman named Annette. I adore Annette. She absolutely has this gift for making you feel like her most valued customer. She remembers details, even if it's been a long time between visits. I'm picky about day spas, and I love this one. Here's why:
When you walk in, you'll find yourself in a charming, fun-to-browse in boutique. This boutique is reminiscent of those you'd find at a fine hotel. Lovely little fun to look at assortment of books, skincare products, handbags, magnets, decorative items, and baby items. (some easily affordable, some not).
Once escorted to the back, you'll be offered a drink, and a tranquil relaxation room. The relaxation room and standard beverage are no different than any similar business. The difference here is the owner.
I don't know what I could possibly say about Annette's genuine attentiveness and care to her clients that could begin to do her justice. Her genuine caring really shines through. I've had facials and eyebrow waxes and I've never been dissapointed. Here's the kicker though - that thing that brings the experience there from a solid day spa trip to an over the top day spa experience. Annette is not just an esthetician and nail tech - she's also a licensed massage therapist. You will not get the dinky standard here's your little massage while your mask sits. You will get a mini-massage that actually gives you a therapeutic benefit. This is relaxation at its finest. I have to say, I've been fortunate enough to experience some truly top notch day spas, and the Spa Lounge experience effortlessly surpasses those visits. I think it honestly comes down to Annette. She owns the business, and that matters to her. A lot.
And the fact that her business matters to her means that the business I give her matters to her. And you know what? It shows.
Thank you soooo much! You are too kind. It has been our hope since day one to provde a great experience in a neighborhood environment. We may not be the biggest day spa, but we try to give you services that make you feel like you have visted one. THANKS AGAIN!

Love it! – I've been going to Annette for my facials for about a year now. She is knowledgeable, thorough and is attentive to details. I'm not even sure which facial I purchase because I just tell her to do whatever i need. The atmosphere is very clean and peaceful. I feel great every time I walk out of The Spa Lounge! And it is so convenient in Draper!

I am ready to come back! – I came in for a hot stone massage last year because my husband knew that I was totally stressed and overwhelmed with life and needed a break! I had the most wonderful experience and the reason why out of all the places around SLC I went to The Spa Lounge was because of all the great reviews I read here on City Search. I had every intention of leaving my own review because I enjoyed my experience so much but time just got the best of me. Better late than never right???
I must tell you that everything was incredible. They provided the most comfortable robe and sandals at the begninning and a private bathroom to get ready in. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing and everyone was SO nice! And as for my treatment. Hands down one best massage I have ever gotten.
I highly recommend The Spa Lounge to anyone who needs to relax and feel pampered like a queen!
