Only Come Here Once Every Year – I was patronizing this place 1-2 times a week, tipping 20% on the $220 price tag until the lady bar tender gave better service to another person. I stopped coming in after that.
Never a disappointment – I've been to the CC Grill many times. I highly recommend it for a client luncheon--can't tell you how much business that lunch brought in! I also recommend it for cocktails in the bar. It's refined, intimate, and comfortable. I also recommend for it for a weekend lunch. You will avoid the crowds and enjoy a quiet, relaxing, well-served meal without pretense. The view is always enjoyable, and an usually green one for Las Vegas, certainly on the Strip. It is truly like dining at an exclusive Country Club where you are a well-known and welcomed member.
Outstanding experience – What a find - it was our second choice (our first was sold out) and we're so glad this Christmas dinner was the highlight of our weekend (even though they didn't have a 'holiday menu' - that was fine - we could've gone to any Station property for that). We couldn't have asked for a better waitress - Merrie, what a wonderful server...and person...she is. We had a table right by the window - overlooking the course and waterfall - to bad it was too dark to really appreciate. The intimate feel of the 'club' made it extra special - although I would not want to sit out by the lobby/bar area - considering the cost of the meal vs. the noise level out there. Wow - the courses were all excellent. We had most of Merrie's recommendations - the Kobe beef carpaccio and the quail with wild mushroom and fruit chutney (although it says boneless - watch out, I got a few), the sweet corn chowder and the bibb salad - excellent. We had the sea bass and the filet mignon - done perfectly, and our side was the truffled cream spinach = a wonderful compliment to our meal. The 'Real' cheesecake - was good, but average, but the Chocolate Bombolone - bite-sized donut holes - filled with molten chocolate and lightly sugar dusted - that you 'pop' in your mouth - to die for. A somewhat out of the way location - way in the back of the resort, by the convention and meeting space - but that's a good thing maybe (Merrie said she doesn't get many locals to dine - as we are) - quiet and intimate and luxurious (rumor has it it's Steve's favorite)...
Top-notch Las Vegas Hospitlality – I accidently stumbled upon this place, and absolutely loved it. I was originally going to eat at a steak house at the palms, but missed my reservation. I called the Wynn and they had a reservation available. From the phone reservation receptionists, to the hostess, to the servers, the County Club exceeded my expectations. The food is amazing...gotta love the pretzel bread! The steak is fabuluos and the wine list is extensive. It is a bit pricey, but that's what you do in Vegas--spend money, but it's worth every penny. The wait staff is phenomenal....I've already been 4 times! Steve Wynn knows how to run a hotel!
Golfers and businessmen grab bites throughout the day at this classic upscale steakhouse. – In Short
With sweeping views of the fairways and 18th hole waterfall, The Country Club is an escape that gives guests the feeling that they're no longer in Vegas as they stare out onto a carpet of green. Diners can stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just to grab a drink at the bar. For dinner, there's Maine lobster bisque, oysters on the half shell, filet mignon, Colorado lamb chops and a 14-ounce Wisconsin veal chop.
No brunch – Can't say much about the food because they don't serve normal breakfast until 9:00 - from 7:00 to 9:00 am (before most tee times) this restaurant only offers pastries and coffee. Granted, the pastries were quite good but for such as phenomenal country club I don't understand why you wouldn't offer guests breakfast before their round of golf. Pastries just doesn't cut it.
Nice veiw – enjoyed an out door lunch overlooking the golf course and waterfall. very nice staff , and the restaurant was although elegant, still casual.
Great for Golf Course view – Food, was good but maybe not what we paid for it. Not that money is always an issue but when you are buying a $100 appetizer someone may want to mention it.
Good place to see famous people!
