Great Haircut!. I moved in to Royal Oak about a year ago and was having trouble finding a place to get my haircut that didnt cost $30 or more in the area. A friend refered me to Lady Janes and I couldnt be happier! I got a wash and cut for $17. Not to mention...a cool atmosphere and good looking girls to stare at :) I would recommend Brooke, she did a great job.

Great deal-Great cut!. I was at a Tiger Game when I heard an announcement about a haircut discount for bringing in my ticket stub to Lady Janes.

I went online and read two negative reviews and was leary-I called the shop and they were great with me and answered my concerns about the negative online reviews.

I told my young stylist about the reviews and told her I was going to write a great review AND get a great haircut. She was a perfectionist so much so that she enrolled the help of another stylist to come over and do some of the work. Two girls, one cut-just great. I didn't exactly know what I wanted so we talked until a style was created. They did exactly what we talked about and my hair looked great and I have a new style-shorter than usual.

I left a great tip for a great job and excellent customer service. I recommend Lady Janes to anyone who is willing to clearly communicate about what you want -they will fulfill on your wish. They wash and style it for $17. It's a good deal even without the discount.

The atmosphere is great: TV's, recliners, eye candy-a salon for guys-cool. The crew there is cool and creates a friendly atmosphere.

Worst cut in years.. The very young (and overweight) , inexperienced girl did not listen to my request and gave me the worst cut I have had in years. When she took much more off with the first cut than I had asked for, there was nothing I could do but let her finish, hoping it would look better. It didn't. I would not recommend Lady Jane's to anyone. Unorganized and unprofessional. Operated by children!

I hope you have better luck. My husband went to this place on a whim, his barber passed away and he is looking for some where new to go. Well this is not the place! He had to ask the girl 2 times to cut it shorter in the back and around the sides well after 2 times and still not getting it he gave up, he also swears that the girl who cut his hair a 20 year old, was not even licenced or just plain that bad. When he came home I asked him where he went and if he paid for that??? Well I got the buzzers out and cleaned him up, I guess this will not be the new place for him.
