Macarons and croissants that will make you're heart melt almost as much as the hunky French waiters!

The Little Next Door is a standout among all the lunch spots on 3rd Street. I come here for brunch because their homemade jams are delicious, as is the baguette French toast. Also recommended are the merguez wrap and the ham and butter sandwich. Wine and Dine specials are weekdays from 4 - 7pm and includes half price beer and wines by the glass.

Beautiful outdoor patio. Delicious french onion soup... Macarons. You feel like you're in Paris.

A charming French restaurant/cafe serving up classic French favorites-the quiche lorraine & croque monsieur are wonderful. Save a little room for their delicious desserts, especially the coconut cheesecake!

I once saw Olivier Martinez get out of his vintage 1960s Aston Martin here. It was like a French dream. Their macaroons are pretty good, too.

This is the best morning hideaway after a night with your beau. There are plenty of small corners where you can enjoy your company and a delicious breakfast. You have to try the croque madame!

This is an adorable cafe that feels tres French. The food is quite good, and much more affordable than next door sister restaurant, Little Door, though it's fantastic, too. Great soups, salads, sandwiches and breakfasts. The macarons are a must.

france's gift to LA – i love this place!! it gives you a chance to relax and enjoy great food and wine. we started with fois grass which the waiter recommended and he couldn't have been more right!!! so needless to say we left it up to him to suggest the rest!! he followed with escargot ...they were delicious!!! the smell of garlic and herbs served in these cute plates was superb and went very well with my glass of french chardonnay. since we were there at 4pm we took full advantage of wine and dine special with help from the most attentive waiter who recommended gnocchi with truffle. the dish was perfection!!! the delicate texture of gnocchi and creaminess of the sauce toped with black truffle made the perfect transition to something light...in this case our knowledgble waiter recomended the endive salad with blue cheese and walnuts.

it was a rich and decadent meal but that was exactly why we were there for. the way the flavors complimented each other was absolutely merit of the waiter who obviously knew what he was talking about. he was french but it takes more than that to know food. i have to give him alone 5 stars!!! his name is Stephan....ask for him next time you go there. i sure will:)

Best Nicoise Salad – Can't or won't go to Little Door? Try Little Next Door. I've been in several times but the last time, I had the French classic Nicoise Salad and it was absolutely wonderful. Fresh lettuce, perfectly seared tuna, crisp beans. The only weird thing were the potatoes because they looked like mango wedges. I kept expecting to eat mango (hello, it's Nicoise!) but now I'm wondering if that could be a California take on the classic. Otherwise, it's a wonderful salad.

"Whatever" – Other than the ambiance and the cozy Euro cafe feel, all I can say is this: I DON'T GET IT. (Oh, and this is coming from someone who LOVES The Little Door).

Mayo is NOT ketchup – We love the atmosphere that comes with outdoor eating and French cafes are usually on the top of our list. So with that said, we decided to try LDND for brunch in addition to the fact that we have enjoyed the LD for dinner. Well, we were definitely extremely disappointed. The service was attitudey and pretty sub par. If you needed to find someone for a drink refill or anything else...good luck. It took about 10 minutes just to ask someone on the wait staff for what we needed and an excessive amount of additional time to actually get it. I ordered soup and an omelette and they came at the exact same time. Obviously I can't eat them together so one if going to be cold by the time I get to it. It's just not intelligent for any waiter to do that. Then the melette was pretty tasteless, so I figured I'd put some ketchup on it to make it more edible. I asked the waiter for it and was told 'We don't have kechup'. I laughed figuring he was joking until he repeated it again. He offered me mayo. Awesome! That's what I want on my eggs....mayonaisse. And my husband wanted ketchup on his French Fries - not exactly unreasonable. So while I get that this is a French restaurant, I think it fails to realize it's in LA which is in America. In America we use ketchup and to not carry it is not only snooty, but just not customer service oriented at all. I'd rather go somewhere that is interested in pleasing the customer over than upholding a reputation of some sort. You can count us out...forever.

CItysearch Editorial Review – The little sister of the Little Door, one of L.A.'s most beloved restaurants, this idyllic Parisian patio cafe and haute gourmet market is where the city's eclectic crowd heads for breakfast, lunch and takeout. Inside the bustling cafe's azure walls, a gleaming case displays a dazzling cornucopia of pastries, artisanal desserts and a wall loaded with bottles of wine. The intimate sidewalk patio exudes rustic charm with lots of greenery, wrought iron tables and shady umbrellas. Seasonal, organic farmers' market ingredients comprise the long list of sandwiches, salads, breads and pastries, homemade jams, condiments, terrines and charcuterie, Moroccan crab cakes, lamb lollipops and luxe truffles. And, of course, there are ample coffee and tea options, including the famed Moroccan mint tea topped with floating pine nuts.

Croque Madame's – I love the food here. Its wonderful. I go here every Sunday and I love the vibe and the people watching. You can't forget to order the pain Chocolate or the Croque Madame. They are to die for. Try them out. You won't regret it!
