Not open during posted hours..
Today was my first visit to this coffee shop. I was up really early and looking for an open coffee shop when I discovered this one, which advertises that it opens at 5am. Great! So, I drive over there and arrive at 5:37am. The place is dark, only the light in the back kitchen is on. The front door is locked.
I gave 2 stars instead of 1 for a rating because this may be an isolated incident. However, I will never know because I won't waste my time driving over there again.
Drinks are good, waits are long, the service is poor.
If you have some spare time and spare change, Mug&Mouse is a nice place to go. The price of their drinks are high compared to most other coffee shops and bubble tea places, but be assured anything on their drink menu taste great. (I like sweet drinks so if you like sweeter drinks, this is the place for you.)
If you do order a drink, you should be ready to set aside some time. They take forever to make them, especially if there are other customers. I had waited 20 minutes for a drink before so be prepared. The service there is inconsistent. It is understaffed so don't expect too much.
The donuts there aren't the best but are decently priced. It is a fair deal but once in a while, I'll get a bad donut that is still raw inside.... or sometimes I'll get a mini donut instead of a regular sized one.
My biggest complaint is their coffee. It is not constantly brewed fresh all day, if you're lucky enough to even find some coffee. If you're in a rush, I wouldn't waste your money on coffee because half the time I've been there it has been empty. I am usually asked to wait 7-8 minutes for a new batch to be brewed, or if I would like an espresso alternative. The espresso however, makes a pretty good substitute.
Over all: it's a fairly nice atmosphere for a small cafe/coffee shop. It is pricey and takes long waits, but the drinks taste good.
Exquisite. I buy a large amount of product here for business reasons. I always get top line service and their donuts and pastries can't be beat.
AVOID ALL TIMES!.
Pros: donuts all day, large drink menu, one of the only internet cafes in area, late hours
Cons: drinks are only marginally good, bad operation and management (apparently REALLY BAD, my husband and I have noticed several employees have come and gone in recent times, the manager must be quite a pain in the rear), confusing rules, and the manager takes too long explaining things and is very confusing/rude.
Overall, I would say AVOID! My family has been going there for a while and the service has gotten worse and worse. I would not recommend this place to anyone, you're better off going somewhere else.
To top it off, I got a nasty case of stomach flu last time I went there!!! And I'm always finding long curly hair in the food...
Coffeehouse and videogame hotspot serves sandwiches, espresso drinks and bubble teas..
In Short
Large, wall-mounted aquarium catches the eye at this contemporary coffeehouse in suburban Frisco. So does the bank of computers offering Internet access at $4 an hour. Menu sticks to sandwiches--ham, veggie, chicken salad, grilled cheese--and breakfast goods; but everything's made on-site, even the doughnuts and kolaches. You'll find the expected cappuccinos and lattes, but also smoothies, slushies and bubble tea, and they'll add the chewy tapioca "pearls" to any cold drink you want.
