Dream Pastries! – My husband first came here because he identified the name ?Dream? Bakery with a restaurant with a somewhat similar name from one of his favorite TV show reruns, ?Seinfeld.? He brought home a couple of ?kolaches? to have with our morning coffee. Normally, I do not like kolaches, and usually toss them after a first bite. Not this one. After tasting the Dream Bakery?s version of the kolache, I wanted another one. The Dream Bakery?s kolache was a warm, slightly sweet, pastry, filled with a sausage roll ? plump & savory, not at all greasy; cheese -- but just enough cheese, and certainly not filled with the usual sticky, yellow glop that you get on top of nachos at baseball games; and finally, jalape?os -- hot but not overwhelming. Absolutely wonderful?but small enough that, next time, I?ll buy two because one isn?t enough!

On Valentine?s Day, we stopped by the Dream Bakery on the way out of town. We were there to buy a couple of kolaches, but when I saw the vast array of freshly baked pastries, I just had to try one of them! I selected a puff filled with raspberry fruit filling and drizzled with chocolate. The Dream Bakery?s Choco-Raspberry Puff was a divine dream! I can honestly say I?ve never had a better Puff! The Dream Bakery is a small, unassuming ?Mom & Pop? bakery whose owners have a Persian background. So, they have a variety of American and European pastries, as well as Persian taste treats. A cozy, clean place with a welcoming Persian ambiance. They also serve coffee, tea, and an assortment of other drinks.

Not that "dreamy..." – I was on one of my frequent business trips and happened upon this establishment. Unfortunately, I ended up becoming very sick. Everything looked good but watch out!
